Chapter 23

(super sorry this book is running rather dull lately guys, along with the fact that i have been behind in updates but i swear to celestia that these next few chapters will be the best few chapters i will write yet!, now onto the chapter, P.S. Sh*ts about to get real)

*Rainbow Dash P.O.V* after a few days of silence and waiting, we receive word from celestia that Fero has new followers and that we will be striking his base of operations tonight.

I walked throughout the warehouse and walked by everyone's stations, Vanessa, rarity, and twilight were talking about something while they were on break from monitoring fero's actions, vinyl, and Octavia were working together on convincing singsia to stay at the warehouse for tonight.

now here's where i knew something felt like it was set right, shy and Gilda were talking to each other, even though we had our doubts on Gilda, and had prepared to kill her when she would betray us, she has managed to amaze us the past few days instead.

recently she got most of her followers to stop murdering in cold blood, and stay in hiding till we could clear them all of their crimes since we knocked the shit out of a few of them.

but no matter what has happened so far, tonight will be the most important night of all our lives.

*11:30 P.M. , Fero's Secret base, 3rd Person View* As the crew dawned their gear in their vehicles, something dawned upon everyone as they sat in silence, there is the chance that they would not return from this.

as everyone synced their watches, Gilda looked across the van at dash and leaned in as did dash "you ready to do this dash?" Gilda asked as she mentally prepared herself and rainbow dash nodded "I am, we have to succeed tonight, or Fero will only become stronger than he already is" rainbow said as she leaned back against the vans wall and leaned against shy.

"you should've stayed at the warehouse shy, you shouldn't have tagged along so that you could stay safe" rainbow whispered as shy was slipping her ballistics vest on.

"no rainbow, i love you, and that means that i will follow you to the ends of equestria just to feel safe." shy said as she zipped the vest up and kissed rainbow on the cheek.

"we'll be fine rainbow, we will make it back alive, but i must know, why didn't we bring Vanessa along?" shy asked as she picked her cloak up along with rainbow's and they put them on.

"because for one rarity couldn't make an extra outfit in time, nor could she make another mask, so we have her back at base keeping singsia company." rainbow said as they pulled their hoods back and put their hair into ponytails.

as they all finished getting geared up rainbow checked her watch and it read 12:00 A.M. which meant it was time to attack.

they snuck out of their vehicle and made their ways to their access points of the building, at the rear entrance was rainbow, Gilda, Shy and vinyl, while near the front, ready to breach, was Octavia, twilight, and Rarity with the breach charge on the door ready to blow.

the sound of minor static hummed in their ears as rainbow pressed a button on the side of her mask to make the call to breach "Alright everyone, on my go." rainbow said as she eyed her watch, Tick,Tick,Tick,Tick, the watch slowly ticked till the minute hand hit Five and rainbow called the order.

BOOM, BOOM, both the charges went off and both groups stormed into the building with guns ready, only to find it empty and abandoned.

rainbow looked around and saw the other group across the building and they all slowly made their way to the rally point in the middle of the building and they lifted their masks up.

"What the hell, Intel said that this is Fero's base!" dash whisper yelled as she kept looking around as if they were all missing something.

"hey, what's that?' shy asked as she pointed to the ground to where a black box reside a note that read "play me."

unsure and unwary of the current situation, rainbow had the groups back away from the device as she stayed there and picked it up, it looked like it was an old recording device that had a tape in it that had no markings on it.

rainbow had the groups get closer to her as she had someone flash their light on it and she pressed a button and the box started up with slight static like a radio, then a familiar voice came on "Hello ladies, good job in finding my secret base, but of course you didn't think i already knew about your plan did you?" Fero's voice mocked as he let out an evil chuckle.

"ugh, he left us a message just to mock us, how cliche" Gilda said as it seemed like the "recording" could hear them and it responded "actually Gilda, it is not as cliche as you think, you see i have rigged that entire building to blow at my command, the 1,000 pounds of c4 are laced within the cracks of the building, one button hit and you all die, but i believe that since rainbow shot me, there should be a little fun before i kill you all." Fero said as the sound of the detonator cover flicked up and down through the device.

"we aren't playing of your shit games Fero, where are you?!" rainbow growled as Fero replied "you may not want to play, but my colleague on the other hand, would like to have some fun before i murder you all myself" a high pitched whine emanated from the box which had everyone on their knees holding their heads then it stopped "oh, and one more thing, should you try to leave, singsia may not see the light of day again." the box cut off leaving a static then silence throughout the building.

then, from out of nowhere, drops in a tall pale man with sunset luminescent shades, a large red hat, black hair, and white gloves with pistols in both hands "this should be more fun than i anticipated, a whole group to torture all to myself, shall we begin?" the tall man said as he aimed a gun towards rarity and without hesitation or even second guessing pulled the trigger.

the bullet flew from the gun right through her head, as her body fell backwards and limp and she hit the floor with a loud Thud as blood slowly drained from the 9mm hole in her head.

No Regrets, No Second guessing, No hesitation, rainbow remembers reading a book on this person once, but before she could gather all her thoughts they are interrupted by another shot as she looks up to see twilight's body fall limp and dead and slam to the floor with an even louder THUD.

no one was moving, everyone was frozen with shock as the man slowly walked over to rainbow and held the gun up to her head "no fun, not even a single struggle." he said as she could almost feel his fingers press against the trigger, until something drags everyone attention to the ceiling where someone comes crashing through and the dust doesn't clear, but the figure dashes out of the dust to reveal pinkamena, not pinkie, pinkamena Diane pie.
