Death's Frozen Veil (MLP Human Fanfic Book 2)

Chapter 14

*Rainbow Dash P.O.V* We hopped in the van we bought and i put on the outfit Rarity made for me, unfortunately i looked exactly like Gilda, but that's what her followers wear, so that is the only way we wouldn't get caught.

"You'll only have a small window of opportunity to run in and get her, try not to take too long" Vinyl said as she slid her mask on while driving.

"Alright, i'll be as quick as i can" i say as i slide the mask on and activate it, hopefully she won't recognize us yet.

"Ok, so from what you've told me is that her captor is an old flying buddy of yours?" Vinyl asked since we were 10 minutes away from his house.

"Yeah, Fero was in flight school with us, me and him used to go for some fast races to see who was better, of course i beat him" i say confidently.

"Alright, well be ready for anything, you said it yourself, he could be stronger" Vinyl said as she focused on the road and we were silent till we arrived.

once we got there i quickly jumped out and landed in the bushes and Vinyl drove out of sight.

"Alright, now to get inside" i whispered to myself as i snuck around the back and found the door open, so i took it and snuck in silently.

"Now, where would i keep gilda if i were Fero?" i asked myself as i looked around and saw a basement door "there" i said as i snuck over and slowly opened the door.

Creeeeaaaaak, the door was noisy so i quickly walked down the stairs and my boots made thumps with every step i took, THUMP, THUMP, THUMP, THUMP.

made it to the bottom to find gilda conscious and bruised, so i quickly ran behind her and cut her free.

She thanked me and got geared up and i called in my radio for Vinyl, and we began the escape, but we were quickly stopped by Fero who seemed bigger and buffer than when i last saw him.

He shoved Gilda down the steps and went after her and i snuck out of the basement and lifted my cloak to grab a tear gas grenade.

I heard her scream in pain and i quickly pulled the pin and tossed it down and turned the air filter in my mask on.

Once i heard the pop i quickly ran down grabbed Gilda and her mask and ran out the house to the street where Vinyl was with the van.

I tossed her in and we drove off, but not before Fero started following and shooting at us, so i opened the back and shot him as he landed a hit on my shoulder.

He stopped following us and i closed the door and threw my mask off and i coughed up a small amount of blood.

"We need to get to the hideout, and quick" i said as Vinyl took her mask off and we drove to the warehouse.

Once we got there i opened the door and stumbled out of the van and Shy ran out of the warehouse to meet me "Dashie, you're back!" she said quite happily.

"No time to talk, we need Twilight, Octavia, and Singsia to come get Gilda, we got her" i said as i leaned on Shy feeling the pain in my shoulder get worse.

"Oh my, alright, come with me and let's get you fixed up" she said as we walked in the warehouse and told the others to grab Gilda and get her inside.

(1-2 Hours later)

*Singsia's P.O.V* She's just laying there, unconscious, motionless, and alive, the masked killer Gilda is now our hands and she just seems so peaceful right now.

I sit next to her bed with the disguise that rarity made for us all so she wouldn't recognize us, but something felt strange, she didn't look like the cold blooded killer people say she is, she just looks like she is misunderstood.

I ponder my thoughts for a while before i hear someone walk in to the room.... my sister walked in " come on Singsia, i don't want you in here anymore."

"I can be wherever i want to be sis, i may be the younger one of us both, but that doesn't mean you can control me."

She sighed and walked over to me and stood over me "Singsia, now."

"No Octavia, besides, i want to be here when she wakes up, i want to talk to her" said with my mind set to speak with Gilda.

Octavia stood next to me with a stern look on her face "Singia, you may talk to her once me and Rainbow Dash are done, alright?"

"Fine" i say as i walk out of the room and Rainbow Dash walks in.

*Octavia's P.O.V*

"What's with Singsia?" Rainbow Dash asks as she is walking in.

"She wants to talk to Gilda, but i told her to wait until we were done with her" i explained with some annoyance in my voice.

"Oh, alright" she said as she pulled up a chair and sat next to Gilda.

"I can't believe this used to be one of my best friends, and now she is know as the killer of friendship" she said as she sat there emotionless.

I let out a brief sigh "well don't stay too long, it's late and you have to keep from moving too much remember?"

She moved her shoulder which was shot earlier, and she let out a pained grunt "i'll get some rest soon, when i feel ready."

"Alright" i said as i walked out and left Rainbow in the room with Gilda.

*Rainbow Dash's P.O.V* I sat there next to the killer, no, i sat here next to Gilda.

we planned on taking her to the police to turn her in for her crimes, but i had another plan in mind for her.................

so, i would like to say that somepony has already turned in their cover art, that's one entry so far!, only quite a few left to go....

so, i know i said that i would go on a break after this update, but, since chapter 15 is quite short, i will post that one up as well before going on my author break.
