Chapter 6

*Rainbow Dash P.O.V* I slowly awake to find that shy is not by my side and i hear a knock at the door.

nurse redheart strolls in with a cheery smile and she speaks up "oh good you're awake, how are you feeling ms.Dash?"

"better, just a few cramps in my back near my wings" nurse redhearts smile disappears into a look of slight worry, then she smiles again "oh it's just your muscles not used to being relaxed for so long."

i shrug off the fact that she seemed worried there and I ignore it as she walks out the door and i lay there already bored out of my mind.

i scan the room and it seems normal enough, except that it looks like it's meant for 2 patients and this makes me wonder who i might be sharing a room with.

i slowly and painfully sit up keeping a hand on my back, then i slowly reach for the curtain, but no sooner did i pull it, did i want to put it back.

my room partner was not only now my room buddy, but she tried to kill me not too long ago..... pinkie pie.

i nearly jumped when i saw her hair in it's flat state and i nearly wanted to get out of my bed and repay her for earlier, but then i remembered, this was one of my truest best friends, i can't do that to her.

so i dismissed the idea and laid back down and stared at the ceiling when i heard the toilet in the bathroom flush and flutters soon walked out and she noticed me and she walked over to hug me, but i held her back and pointed to pinkie.

she walked to the crack in the curtain and she gasped and stumbled back onto my bed with tears in her eyes, as to what kinds of tears they were i wasn't sure, but she seemed overjoyed that pinkie was alive, i shouldn't ruin her happiness because of what pinkie did earlier.

i sat up and hugged shy and she hugged me back, almost squeezing me and i let out a slight cough and she let me go "did i hug you too tight?" she asked.

"no, no you're fine flutters" i paused a moment because i was somewhat out of breath "just sore" i say trying to cover up the fact that i was shocked at myself.

we hear a knock at the door and i reach out and pull the curtain back in place and it was a good thing that i did, cause our friends walked in twilight and rarity ran over and squeezed me and shy in tight hugs as spike casually walked in.

they finally let us out of the hugs and i keep looking towards the curtain pinkie resides behind and twilight must've been watching me closely, because she reached for the curtain and pulled it back and the room went silent as they stared at pinkie like she was a ghost.

then out of the silence we hear a slight grunt and shuffling and we turn to notice that pinkie appears to be waking up!

i slowly sit up and stare towards pinkie and we wait for her eyes to open, but for a few minutes nothing, then right as i am about to lay back down, pinkie's eyes shoot open faster than i can even preform a sonic rainboom and she sits up almost instantly and she looks around then notices me and our friends.

twilight, rarity, and shy run to her and hug her and i slowly try to get up out of my bed and shy notices and helps me over to pinkie pie and i hug her as well.

while i'm hugging her i lean close to her ear as i see the opportunity and whisper in her ear "no hard feelings pinkie" and i let go of her and she nods slightly.

for a while we enjoy each others company and they keep asking pinkie so many questions and we basically hang out for a while till the clock hits 6:30 P.M. and twilight and rarity leave after giving me and pinkie hugs, then it's just me, shy, and pinkie pie.

"i'm going to go home tonight dash, alright?" shy says in a quiet tone.

"alright shy, just be careful and lock the house down, you hear anything strange, you hide, don't run, hide in my hidden room, understand?" i say sternly.

she smiles and kisses my cheek "understood m'am" she giggles and leaves the room and it falls silent.

"look dashie, about what happened earlier..." pinkie started to say.

"pinkie, it's fine, you weren't yourself, Gilda brainwashed you." i say as i look to her.

"no...i....it's just that.....i was myself" she said staring down at her sheets.

i looked over at her in shock "why pinkie, why did you do it?" i asked feeling betrayed.

" i'm not sure, part of me screamed not to do it, but someone, or something kept telling me to continue anyways" she said as she started crying.

i slowly got out of bed and made my way to her bed and hugged her and she cried into my shoulder "I'm so sorry dashie, please forgive me!" she cried.

"sh sh sh sh, don't cry pinkie, it's alright, all is forgiven" i say as i stroke her hair.

"please don't hate me dashie, i never meant to!" she said as tears slowly soaked the shoulder of my gown.

"it's alright pinkie, i understand, i don't hate you, no one does" i said as i tried to soothe her.

she just kept crying, almost not stopping "c'mon pinkie, no more tears" i said as i kept stroking her head.

"c'mon pinkie, show me a smile" i say trying to cheer her up as i smile towards her "fill my heart up with sunshine" i said as she slowly started to smile still slightly sniffling.

"that's better pinkie, no more tears" i said as i hugged her and she hugged me back.

it felt good to have the pinkie we knew and loved back.

No A/N for this chapter, just gonna say that my creative juices r flowing again and i got some wicked ideas, and some crazy stuff planned for this book!
