KageHina ~ A pair of idiots.

"I'm going home now."

A few days a ago, Kageyama and Hinata had gotten into a pretty big argument. They had only just started dating, but to be honest, it wasn't going well. It wasn't the either of them were bad boyfriends, it was the lack of communication between them.

"He won't even look at me." Hinata sighed pulling his knees closer to his chest.

"It will be okay Hinata, just give him time." Yamaguchi placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder.

Their argument had been caused by a simple misinterpretation. Kageyama hadn't really been himself around Hinata lately. One day when the ginger was walking home alone he saw Kageyama sat in the park with a girl. That day he wasn't in school.

When Hinata decided to question him about it Kageyama said she was an old friend, one he had wanted to catch up with for a while. That was the genuine truth. However, the accusation Hinata made about his boyfriend cheating caused the argument.

They questioned each other's loyalty and trust. Eventually Kageyama gave up arguing and left the gym, that was last Friday. Seven days had passed since they last had a proper conversation.

"I'm gonna head home now as well." Hinata sighed standing up to throw his bag around his shoulder.

"Okay, be careful it's snowing out!" Suga waved him off as he began riding down the hills of the mountain.

At some point the snow had almost turned into a blizzard. The pathway ahead was engulfed in snow, the only thing keeping Hinata warm was the flow of his tears.

There was a sudden jolt, then a crash. The boy was flung over a rock onto the path next to a park. It's surroundings were unfamiliar. His vision became blurry, he must have hit his head. When he went to stand up a shooting pain shot through his ankle as he wailed in pain.

The January snow and icy breeze had caused Hinata's hands to stiffen. Eventually he managed to pull himself to a standing position using the red gate of the park.

When he searched through his bag for a coat everything was soaked through and no use. His phone was only on 20% so saving battery was his priority. He could call someone to help him, but unfortunately there was no service.

The wheels of his bike had been deflated by the impact and with his injury he couldn't ride it home and it's not like he would be able to walk. All he had to keep him warm were a pair of joggers, a jumper and a scarf. None of it was really much use.

He just about managed to stumble over to pair of swings and sit down. His teeth had begun to chatter and his body was starting to shake.

"Why today." He grimaced.

There was one thing he could do. His parents were out of town so the person closest to the mountains was Kageyama. With the lack of service he couldn't call him, but he could send his location. Providing Kageyama was actually willing to look for him.

Sending his location randomly would be slightly concerning right?

He opened up his phone and clicked Kageyama's icon, then proceeded to send his location.

Kageyama's phone lit up from the dark corner of the room. At first he wasn't going to check it, but his gut feeling told him he should. It was a location, about a twenty five minute walk from his house.

His face morphed from annoyed, to confused and then concerned. When he tried calling Hinata his phone went straight to voicemail. He had no clue what to do.

𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝘂𝘀 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗳 𝗵𝗲'𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲.

Immediately Kageyama left scolding himself for not going out to look for him earlier. He made sure to wrap himself up warm and bring a spare coat incase one was needed.

Trekking down the mountain hills was hard in the snow. He had been speed walking trying his best not to slip on the ice. Once he arrived at the park he saw a figure sat on one of the swings.

"Hey idiot." Kageyama stood in front of the ginger as he looked up. His body shaking violently against the cold. When he tried to speak the chattering of his teeth prevented it.

Kageyama wrapped Hinata up in a coat after noticing his shivers. When the boy tried to stand up yet again he grimaced at the pain.

"Come on." Kageyama picked Hinata up and lifted him onto his back. His body still struggling against the cold weather.

"You, you came to h-help me." He struggled to speak with his chattering teeth.

"I wouldn't just leave you out here in the cold dumb ass."

When they arrived back at Kageyama's place he gave Hinata some warm clothes to change into, along with a blanket. He was curled up in a ball at the corner of his bed trying to focus on anything but the pain in his foot.

"Here." Kageyama helped him sit up and placed a mug of warm coco in his hands. He then placed a few pillows underneath his injured foot to keep it elevated. His ankle was only bruised, but still, he needed to be taken care of.

Kageyama almost chuckled at the sight of his clothes being so baggy over Hinata's body. He was sure they could drown him.

"I thought you hated me." Hinata's eyes began to swell with tears as he grasped the warm mug in his palms.

Kageyama's instincts immediately kicked in and he gently wrapped his arms around his boyfriend, placing a soft kiss on his forehead.

"I'm sorry, I was an idiot. I should've told you what I was doing and why I wasn't in school. I shouldn't have ignored you when you just wanted to talk, God I'm such and fucking dumb ass. I'm sorry for being so inconsiderate of your feelings I really am."

Hinata placed his coco on the desk next to them and wrapped his arms around Kageyama's waist.

"No I'm the idiot. I shouldn't have assumed you were cheating and just asked you about it first. I should trust you more. It's all my fault I'm sorry." He began crying into Kageyama's chest as he squeezed him tighter.

Kageyama laughed. "Looks like we're just a pair of idiots."

They both laughed squeezing each other tighter before falling asleep in one another's arms.
