A/n- ok so I know this is my third chapter and so far all the chapter are from JJs pov, but this chapter is going to be from JJs pov again. In the next chapter it will be from Emily's.. enjoy..

Once everyone got to the bau Hotch gathered us to bullpen for Garcia to present the case.

"Good morning my lovely people," Garcia started off saying. "3 couples in the past 2 weeks found dead at public places. Like parks. The first couple Agelica and Amanda Hummings tortured and eventually strangled to death."

"Wait, but they are both-" Morgan started saying.

"-Girls yes! This unsub kills homosexual people in a committed relationship in Washington!"

I looked at Emily. I was the only person on the team who knew Emily was gay.. I didnt know how this affected her because people like her are getting killed..

"Em.. are you ok?" I whispered. She gave me a reassuring nod and we both continued to listen.

"Okay, wheels up in 30." The iconic line of Aaron Hotchner. "Um Emily, JJ can you stay back for a sec?"

Emily and I both watched everyone leave so that Hotch could talk to us both.

"Would it be ok if you two could go under cover as a couple?" Hotch asked. "You two are the closest on the team and you both fit his type."

"Hotch I-" I started saying, but Emily cut me off.

"Yeah, that's cool."

Emily and I both walked out and I pulled Em into he bathroom.

"What was that for Jen?" Emily asked.

"Em, are you sure? You want to go undercover..?" I questioned.

"Jay, It'll be fine. I have you remember?" She said with a laugh. That made me feel a little bit better.

We both smiled and went back to our house to pack since we had 30 minutes.

Emily and I were one of the last people to get on the jet.

"Mom I gotta go, i love you. I love you too Henry." I say getting onto the jet.

"Well you sure are happy." Morgan decides to say.

"Aren't I always?" I say sarcastically.

I got to my usual spot which was on the sofa that had the best view of the sky.

Not to long after Emily showed up. I dont know why she showed up late.

"Hey Em, you okay?" I questioned.

"Yeah, I'm fine JJ." She says sitting next to me.

"Are you ready for this case?" I say. She just nods.

"Okay, JJ, Emily when we land you two will be going to a different hotel since you need to act like a couple and not as an agent." Hotch begans to say. "You dont have to act like a couple behind closed doors, but once you leave the hotel room you need to.

I looked at Emily and she just nodded.

"Um, is there any specific time that we have to leave?" Emily asked.

"Actually yes, you cant leave until 9:00 in the morning and you cant stay out past 11:00." Hotch stops for a second. "He usually hunts either really early in the morning or late at night and we do not want you two to get caught in between all of that."

We landed a few hours later and Emily and I headed off to our own room.

"Ready lover?" Emily asked taking my hand into hers.
