Part 5//jelous?

An hour or so later you and Nat leave the room hand in hand giggling to eachother as she tripped on the doorframe falling into you and laughing into your shoulder. You walked down the corridoor towards the lift as it opened up and Carol walked out. Nats expression immedietly changed to staring her down and unimpressed but I brushed it off as nothing and spoke to Carol.

"hayyy" i said she she waked out

"oh hi y/n" she said walking in for a hug.

I stepped forward to hug her and Tash kept firmly hold of my hand leaving me in a lazy one sided hug. She looked at Nat and gave her a small smile. Something was deffinatly not right. you thought it might be nerves or that she was thinking about missio with Carol so you pulled her in closer.

"Ive not seen you guys in ages!" she said exitiely.

Steve was now coming out of his bedroom and standing in the small convasation circle. Carol tapped me on the arm and said she would catch us later and we got nto the lift. The lift doors shut behind me, Nat and Steve and I turned to face her confused.

"you ok?" I asked taking her hand.

I dont understand why Nat was so cold with Carol.

"ye im fine" She smiled back but I saw steve with his head down trying to hide a smirk.

The lift doors opened up and she headed for Clint while steve made his way to the kitchen.

"hey" I said

"Do you know is Nat and Carol ever fell out?" I asked. I was going to get to the bottom of this.

"Its really not my place to say" steve responded

"steve, common i need to know! Is Nat ok? Did Carol do something to her?" I shout whispered.

"jeez alright calm down, When Carol first came to the avengers like 6 months after you joined." he paused.

"Steve!"

"she kind of.. erm.. had a crush on you" he answered looking down.

"Carol?" i asked shocked

Thats why Nat didnt like her, she probs knew. It calmed me knowing that it wasnt something to bad but you could se why Nat was worried. In her defense she handled it alot better than I would have if it was the other way around.

You went down to the lounge and sat on the sofa shortly being joined by Carol herself.

"so what have i missed down hear on earth?" she asked moving closer

She knew that you were dating Nat so you felt kind of annoyed that she thinks she is going to get between us.

"honestly not much" I replied and saw Tash heading straight for us. She looked angry but you knew she wouldnt say anything. So you did.

"hey baby" you said as she got to you taking her hand and pulling her onto your knee. She almost giggled on how upfront you were being but came in closer just to rub it in.

Carols face drew into a sharp line and she shuffeled back on the sofa so she wasnt still touching you.

The other avengers mainly Steve, Buck, Tony and Sam were smirking with their heads down at what just happened.They must all know. And therefore know why i am being so cosy with Nat in front of everyone. Tony stood up and headed for the kitchen before leaning into Carol and saying.

"Dont get between my two best girls" and chuckling to himself as he left the room.

You could feel Nats silent chuckle as she turned into your chest and Carol got up to make a drink.

Later that night there was a party. Not a party party but the avegers gathering and a few friends. Nat wore a stunning black dress and you wore a short red one along with my signiture black flight jacket over the top.

You got down to the party and Nat headed straight toward the bar and slipped behind asking what you wanted to drink.

"Ill have a whiskey please my lady" I smirked

"me to please" said Carol coming up to the stool next to you. You wernt going to be nasty to her just make it clear that Nat was the single most importand person to you.

Your drinks appeared in front of you and Nat gave a glare to Carol that she returned.

Nat left the bar and made her way round to you and leant into your arms.

"wow you to really go everywhere together dont you" she said

"ye ye, we do" said Nat finishing her glass and reaching for another.

This could be a messy night...

After a few hours of chatting with people Carol has a go at round two.

"hey y/n I really like your dress" she said toughing the top of the split on my thigh.

Nats grip immiedlty tightened around me and she began to take a step forward towards drunk carol but I gave her a glance reasuring her.

"thanks, its acctually Nats. She looks a lot more beutiful in it than I do"you said lookking up at her pecking her on the lips.

Carol and Nat were both tipsey and you didnt trust that if Carol made a move Tash wouldnt swing at her. She gets a bit competative when she has had a drink.

Carol reappeared tripping and grabbing onto steve. He proceeded to give us a look and take her to her room doing buth her and us a favour.

Just before disappearing out of the room carol leaned of Steve and into your chest  saying "I like you allot better than Natasha"
I turned just in time to see tony getting to Tasha before she got to carol practically draping Nats limp body over his shoulder as Steve walks of with carol. Tony is not match for Tasha but when she has had this much to drink he can just about control her.

He looks behind and leans tasha into my body escaping towards the bar.

The party was quieting down and Nat was reaching for the bottle of whiskey. You moved it out of her reach and put your arm around her.

"no more" you said

She put her hands around you neck and began to sway with the music. You were practically holding her weight as her hands started exploring your body. She was going in for kisses but you moved back and said

"Tasha your drunk. Lets get you to bed"

You put her arm around your neck and began helping her out. You ended up carring her bridal style to your room then placing her down on the bed. You pulled off her heels then sat her up to unzip her dress and slip it off. She lay back down pulling you on top of her. You kissed her head gently and got up but she kept ahold of your wrist.

"Tasha your really drunk. Not tonight" she pouted and you pulled her up and slipped a tshirt over her head and pulled the dovet on top of you both. She lay into your body and was asleep in minutes.
