you woke at 3 a.m. really thirsty so you went downstairs to get water.

when you finished your glass, you went back to the bedroom and daniel was sitting up. 

" what are you doing up, baby? " you whisper, sitting next to him.

" i have a headache and i'm so hot too. "  he answers and he lays his head in your lap.

" i'll get you a wet cloth. i'll be right back. " you walk to the bathroom, wet a cloth and you hand it to him. 

" thanks, princess. " he says in a gruff voice, placing the cloth on his forehead.

once he had the cloth there for a while you took it off and felt his forehead, he was still burning up.

" you're burning up, baby. " you get into bed next to him and he lays his head on your chest.

luckily the next day he didn't have rehearsals so he stayed home and you were able to take care of him.

the next morning you woke up earlier than him.

you went to make a quick breakfast for the both of you.

when you finished making everything you took it all upstairs. 

daniel was already awake and he was on his phone. 

" you made me food. " he says with a smile and placed a kiss on your cheek. 

you place the tray down in the middle of the bed and put on a show to watch while eating.

" if i get this when i'm sick, then i'm gonna be sick everyday from now on. " he says grabbing another pancake. 

you look at him and hold your hand to your heart, faking some sadness.

" oh my god you're making it seem like i don't take care of you. " you say faking a sniffle.

" oh shut up. " he laughs, jokingly pushing you to the side.

you both laugh as you almost fell off the bed.

" when you're done you're taking your medicine. " you say with a serious tone.

he groans and falls back into the pillows. " nooo, please princess. " 

" yes you've gotta get back on your game seavey. " you mess with his hair and get up to take the dishes to the kitchen.

you open the medicine cabinet, take out his pills and pour a glass of water.

you go back upstairs and give him the medication.

" no. i refuse. " he hides under the cover.

you sigh and sarcastically roll your eyes, already knowing this is about to be a challenge. 

" if you take it all now, you'll get extra kisses forever. " you say and his head pops up.

he takes the medication from you and downs it within a few seconds.

" okay. all done. give me love please. " he pulls you onto him and you laugh as you fall.

you laid there for a hour, having a conversation while he ran his hand up and down your back.
