your pov:

it's 4:30 pm right now and you're in the living room watching friends, waiting for daniel to come home.

he's been at the studio since 9am and you were excited to see him since he left early.

moments later the door opens. 

you immediately had a smile on your face but when you looked at him he seemed a little off.

you've never seen him like this before and you were defnitely a little concerned. 

he walks over to you and places a kiss on your forehead.

" hi baby " he says in a gruff voice. 

you look at him in his eyes and furrow your brows. 

" baby what's wrong, and don't lie, i can tell you're clearly not okay " you said and carressed his cheek, searching for an answer through his tired expression. 

he sighs and walks to the couch with you.

he fiddled around with his hoodie strings, you could tell he was nervous.

" hey you know you can tell me anything right " you said reassuringly. 

he nodded his head, took a deep breath and spoke " you know how you've always told me about how i tend to overwork myself sometimes" 

" yeah " you replied and knew where this was going. 

" well as usual you were right. we've been working so hard on perfecting the album, and it's so much pressure on us because we're doing the whole thing alone. i'm not taking a break and giving myself a second to relax. i've been so tired. " he said, and felt like a huge weight was lifted.

" i'm glad you told me how you really felt. this is why i talked to you about it because you love what you do so much, that you forget that you're human too and need to get rest. okay, here's what we're gonna do, i'm gonna run you a bath and i'll make some dinner. i'll also let the boys know that you aren't going in tomorrow so you can have a day off. how does that sound " you finished speaking and he had a soft smile on his face. 

he gave you a hug and gently placed a kiss on your lips.

" it sounds amazing baby. i don't deserve you. i love you so much " he thanked you.

you had a slight blush on your face and beamed a smile at him, " i love you baby "

he grabbed your hand and walked upstairs to your bedroom.

 you ran the bath for him and he while he was in there you made dinner.

he walked out of the bathroom and changed into sweatpants.  

he laid down next to you and pulled you into his open arms.

you giggled and cuddled into his chest.

he wrapped his arms around you and kissed your head, " goodnight princess i love you " 

" i love you too baby "
