"Truth or dare, Lacey?"

MOMENTS BEFORE A LOVED ONE DIES, you can feel all the hope getting sucked out of your body. Your heart craving to hold him one last time, to hear his voice one last time. The wind fastens as I focus on it and slowly all the flowers in the flower field I am sitting in die. 

This is what I do, things, people die on my watch and it destroys me from the inside. 

I stare at the parchment in my hand. It's from the Weasley boy, telling me that he will visit in a few weeks. Apparently, he graduated last year and now he and his brother have this joke shop on the Diagon Ally. 

There is something about him that attracts me and I don't know what. I remember the morning after the party perfectly because my friends still like to talk about it.

I slowly walk to the table of Slytherin. Both my legs and my throat hurt and most memories of last night are vague, however, I clearly remember the sex. I sit down next to Athena and across Pansy and Daphne, all of them staring with a small smirk. "What?" My voice is raspy and it causes that the boys look up to us as well. "What happened to you?" Blaise laughs, but he stops when he sees my neck. "What's that?" "I can assume you have seen love marks before, right?" I say before taking a sip of my water. "What did you do at that party?!" "A better question may be, who did I do at the party?" Before Blaise or anyone else can say something Draco sits down next to me. He looks tired, but I notice the grin around his mouth. "Wait, you and-?"  The boy and I turn to each other both grinning. "You too?" "Yea, she was good-" 

Parties like that one make me miss Ilvermorny. I lean against the tree stump, closing the book I was reading. The wind is cold, which shows that fall is around the corner. 

I watch how slowly everything dies and I lean against the tree stump again. Some things never change.

I walk through the common room and go downstairs to the dormitories. My blonde best friend has been distant these past few weeks and I don't know what is wrong with him. I heard from Blaise that his family has a hard time, now that Lucius serves in Azkaban.

I would never go to his side, but I can't blame his family as I do believe he may be hard to resist. 

Arriving at his dormitory I put my fist in the air to knock on his door, but something stops me. What if he- "Fuck- Malfoy, keep doing that-" Someone moans loudly and I immediately step away from the door. This is clearly not the right timing. I should go. 

I feel the adrenaline flowing through my body as I go back upstairs and sit down on one of the sofas. "What is on your mind, sis?" Blaise laughs as he sits down in front of me. Theo and Pansy both find a place and look at me with curiosity moving through their eyes. 

"I think I just caught Draco having sex with a Gryffindor." 

I state, making Pansy chuckle. "Did he finally have the balls to tell Granger how he feels?" "How do you know it is Granger?" I can't help but be confused. Huh? "How could she not, honestly he has been bullying her for years now." Theo starts with a smirk. "Yea, we have secret bets with each other about it, but if he is with her right now-" "It means you have to give me the 20 galleons." Pansy finishes while chuckling. "Because I called it." 

I laugh and wave my wand to make some butterbeer appear. "Let's be realistic, this is not just sex. I know they will officially get together within 2 weeks." "Wanna bet?" Theo moves his arm over my shoulder, causing Blaise to stare at us in confusion. "Sure thing, Nott. I say 30 galleons that they will get official within 2 weeks." "That's not going to happen so I would start saving money, love." He flirts smoothly.

"We will see, Nott." 

The rest of the night we laugh, eat snacks and drink firewhiskey. Athena, Daphne, Adrian and even Draco joined as well, making the night even crazier. My chuckle moves over the common room when Blaise takes a body shot off Pansy. Our truth or dares are getting out of control. 

"Truth or dare, Lacey?" 

Pansy laughs waiting for her to pay me back. "Why do I have a feeling that both choices could go down the drain?" "Because they will, so what is it going to be-" "Dare," I say already regretting that decision. "I dare you to make out with Theo-" "Pansy that's my sister." Blaise chuckles taking another shot. "I don't mind...- Honestly!" I clarify as Theo raises his eyebrows. "You are not going to make out with my friend-" 

"Watch me-" I glance my brother up and down before pulling the boy closer by his belt making our lips meet. Athena and Daphne cheer and I am pretty sure Blaise's jaw hits the ground. 

His hands move over my shoulder to my waist as he sucks my bottom lip making me grin. Mine lay in his neck and brush through his hair. After a few seconds, we both back away. He runs his hand through his hair while I roll my tongue over the inside of my cheek. 

"Just like that," 

I smirk before looking up at my brother and without breaking eye contact I start talking again. "Draco, truth or dare?"
