if you guys are new to this chapter keep reading, if not you can stop for a minute. I know I did a reveal but this is a MariChat story so I'm sorry. I rewrote the chapter. No reveal. Sorry y'all

beep... beep... beep

what the hell is that? What is beeping? Why is it beeping? I heard voices around me,

"do you think she'll wake up soon?," Alya.

"I hope so, it's been two days," Adrien. two days? I've been out for two days?

"Does anyone know what happened?" Nino. What are they doing here?

"Chat Noir found her on the ground outside of the bakery and brought her here and then he went back to the bakery and got her parents, he doesn't know what happened but he was the last one to talk to her before," why does he sound guilty? wait, how does he know that?

"Adrien how do you know that?"

"O-oh I um. he just-um her parents told me. Yeah, they told me," was he lying? Why would Adrien be lying? I'm confused. My head is all fuzzy.  

"Adrien, Nino and I have to leave. We're supposed to go out to dinner tonight and we'd love to stay and wait for her to wake up but we already made the reservation weeks ago and this place is really hard to get into. I'm sure Marinette will understand, we'll be back as soon as school gets out tomorrow," come on eyes, open. Why won't you listen?

"Oh, I'll text you when I leave with any updates. I told her parents I'd stay until they can get back from the bakery. It's the only way I could get them to go home, open the bakery and take care of themselves. I don't mind though, I want to be here when she wakes up. You guys go ahead, we'll be fine here," I heard the door open and shut again and then there was silence and then, sniffling, is Adrien crying? 

"I'm sorry Marinette, I don't know what happened but you're probably in so much pain and there's nothing I can do about it, I swear I'll do everything I can to help you," suddenly everything hit me all at once, giving my earrings to Tikki, jumping off the balcony, Chat last night taking me home, finding me in the shower, the nightmare and lastly all the pain hit me at once. I groaned, why won't the pain stop?

"Marinette? Oh my gosh! Are you awake?" He was yelling. it feels like my head is being torn apart,

"Stop... yelling. Ow.." I tried to open my eyes but they felt glued shut. Finally, I was able to pry them open, the light was burning them but I kept them open and looked at Adrien, he looked a mess. His eyes were red like he had been crying and then I saw the tears running down his face. His hair was messier than usual, it reminds me of Chat. Chat. Where is he? Was he the one that found me? Yeah he was. Where is he?

"Crap I'm sorry I'm just so worried about you. Do you know what happened?" I tried to reach my hand out but the pain was too much. my arm twitched and I felt Adrien wrap his hand around mine,

"don't try to move you might hurt yourself even more," 

"Chat.. Where's Chat?" Adrien looked hurt,

"Sorry, he found me. Did I scare him off?"

"Hey no, I don't think you scared him off. He probably just had some stuff to take care of in his personal life," I guess that was reasonable.

"Don't you have a photoshoot to be at? Why are you wasting time in a hospital room with me?" his grip on my hand tightened and he moved closer to the bed,

"I'm not wasting my time here, I was worried about you, still are. I want to be here for you," That can't be true. Why would he care about someone as disgusting as me? I tried to sit up but I couldn't move my body was too sore,

"Mari, please stop trying to move. Listen, I'm going to call your parents and tell them you're up. they should be closing up the shop anyway so I will be right back. Stop moving please," as soon as he left the room I forced myself to sit up, successfully knocking the air out of me. I tried to get my breath under control before Adrien got back but I was not successful in that. 

"Holy crap Marinette. I told you to stop moving. What the hell were you thinking?" Adrien ran to my side and tried to help me breath. Eventually he was able to help me slump against the wall and get me to breathe properly. 

"Your parents are on their way. Please stop moving." as soon as he finished talking the door opened and my parents rushed in,

"Marinette you're awake!" they ran to my side and hugged me. It hurt. A lot but I just bit my tongue and tried to hide the pain I was in.

"I think you're hurting her," damn you Adrien. They instantly let go and apologized. As soon as they sat down the atmosphere in the room changed. Shit.

"So Marinette we're just conused. What happened? Chat told us you were walking around in the rain at 1am and he took you home and when he left you were in the shower. He said he was worried when he got home and he couldn't sleep because something felt wrong so he came back but you were on the ground in front of the backery bleeding." I looked away from my parents and saw Adrien sitting at the end of my bed staring at me. He looked worried and he raised an eyebrow when I looked at him, mom sighed. 

"Okay, lets start with an easier question. Why were you out walking in the rain at one in the morning?" I bit my lip. What could I say that wouldn't make them worry? 

"I couldn't sleep and I thought I'd go clear my head but when I was walking back it started raining. I was just trying to get home before I got sick." Adrien didn't look convinced but I refused to look at my parents.

"Alright, next question. Why did Chat find you on the ground in front of the bakery?" I shut my eyes and looked down. How could I tell them I jumped? I don't want to worry my parents, I couldn't. I can't do that to them. I couldn't let Adrien see me like this either. 

"I-I uhh well when I got out of the shower I tried to go to sleep but I still couldn't sleep so I went out to the balcony like I usually do when I can't sleep but it was still raining and well you know how clumsy I am, I slipped and went right over the railing. I'm sorry for worrying you guys," I looked back up to see Adrien looking at me skeptically, why? He knew how clumsy I was.
