Surprisingly, there was nothing to do. It was like the Bad Guys were taking a Vacation. Which meant the heroes could too, and the plus side. It was Summer Break! The Young Justice Team and the Justice League were all having a Barbeque out on the beach. On a Public Beach, so no one could use their powers for anything. They were all just ordinary, humans. With the acception of Hidden, she's using her power to keep Aquaman and Aqualad's gills and 'flipper's/webbed fingers' hidden.
She was under an umbrella, wearing a long sleeved shirt and sweats. She was wearing a Bikini underneath it though.
"You want to go, we can cover-" Aquaman started
"She's got Thalassophobia, she's fine not swimming." said Ashley
She walked up to Hidden, handing her a cup of water.
"I'm fine near it, just not in it." Hidden said
"The Foods ready!" Clark shouted
Everyone came in, there were a lot of people out at the beach today.
"Woah..." said Wally & Bart
They ended up dropping their food, everyone looked to where they were looking. A gorgeous blonde haired woman with blue eyes came walking out of the water, everyone was looking at her. Even the kids, Ashley looked at Aqualad. He was staring at her too, she looked down. There was no way she was going to be able to compete with that. She thought,
The woman had a smirk on her face, knowing that she had everyone's attention. They all went back to normal though, as soon as a group of guys went up to her.
"That's not going to end well." said Dinah
"This is going to be interesting." snickered Roy
"You know her?" said Oliver
"No, I know the guy in the middle though. He was a thug I caught a month ago. The charges were dropped though," he shrugged
"What'd he do?" Barbara asked
Next thing anyone knows, there's a loud slap and then she's grabbed and there's a scuffle. Roy stops them,
"What the hell Roy!! You don't know what they're thinking!" yelled Megan
"We're not in costume. You can't use your powers, and you can't arrest them. If you fight them, you'll end up in jail along with them. Stay Calm," said Batman
"Ah...I know her..." said Ashley
"You do? Who is she? Shouldn't you be helping her then." said Damian
"How do I put this...she's the one I was telling you about," she said
The three Lantern's eyes widened in surprise,
"Seriously? I thought you said she was nerdy looking?" said Gardner
"I haven't seen her for a couple years...she could have changed." said Ashley
She lets out a scream and covers her chest,
"Damian!" said Tim
Nobody was able to stop him as he walks over to the group and pushes the guy who took her bikini top to the ground.
"Stop being bully's and leave her alone." he said
"Rosalinda!" Ashley hollered
The woman looked at Ashley and her eyes went wide, and smiled with her eyes closed. That's all it took for Ashley to run over, Aqualad right behind her. They were able to chase the guys off, especially when Superman walked over. They ran in fear of his muscles. Ashley helped Rosalinda with her bikini top and she joined them.
"When did you change?" Ashley asked
"Hm...oh right! We haven't talked or seen each other in ages. So you don't know." she said
"Know What?" Ashley asked
"Ah...you remember that guy I told you about last time? The one I was dating??" she said
"Yeah, what about him?" Ashley asked
Rosalinda leaned down to her ear and whispered, making the others curious. Superboy and Superman cleared their throats, and Ashley's mouth dropped open.
"What? What did he do??" Garfield asked
"...You're so cute!" Rosalinda squealed
She lifted him up into a hug, pushing his head into her chest.

They stayed all day, it was dark. Kaldur and Ashley walked down the beach with each other. Kaldur had wanted to talk to her alone, which got Rosalinda grinning and she literally pushed the two away from everyone.
It was the perfect setting, the sun was setting when they stopped. Kaldur grabbed her hands and looked down at her. Smiling softly, and he spoke.
"Ashley, we've been good friends, and teammates since the beginning. You've helped me through the tough times. You believed in me, and waited. Even when everyone had believed I joined the bad side, you never hated me when we faked Artemis's death...you were there when we almost lost Wally, you stayed with me. You stayed my friend..." He put his forehead on her's, making her blush a bright red
"I love you. Today. Tonight. Tomorrow. Forever. If I were to live a thousand years, I would belong to you for all of them. If I were to live a thousand lives, I would want to make you mine in each one." he finished
He leaned down, placing his hand against her cheek and giving her a sweet and gentle kiss. Without hesitation, she kissed him back.

They were interrupted by a flash, they pulled away and turned to Rosalinda who grinned and ran off giggling.
"Finally! You've liked him for years!!" she yelled
"Years?" said Aqualad
"A-Ah....I love you too...um....I'll be right back...." Ashley blushed, before she ran after Rosalinda yelling for her to get back here,
It was an enjoyable sight, and funny one. Most of the guys got slapped by their significant other or Wonder Woman
