"Mother was right, men are fools."
"Who are you you?" Nightwing asked the woman who floated down,
She just smirked at him, before flying over quickly to where Flash, Kid Flash and Impulse were running around the Chrysalis. Joining them in the speed, the three speedsters were surprised to see someone keeping up with them, and was even more surprised when she started blocking the Chrysalis from attacking Kid Flash.
After they had gotten rid of the Chrysalis, she was the only one standing tall; while the three speedsters were panting for air.
"You've done it, congratulation's!" Aqualad said, as he placed his hand on the Flash's shoulder.
"How...are you...not tired?" Impulse asked the woman, as he panted.
"I do not understand your question. Why should I be tired?" the woman asked him confusion clear on her face.
"...Would you like to 'hang out' with us for awhile?" Miss Martian asked her, a bit hesitantly.
"I was not planning, on going anywhere. I am looking for someone, and have come to learn that if I am around you I am bound to find them." the woman said, not mentioning a name or making any room for conversation.
~~~~~
"Celestine!" Wonder Woman said in shock, once her and the rest of the League members who had left earth for a trial, entered the Watch tower and seeing the red haired warrior.
"Haha! I knew if I stayed with the small ones I would run into you Diana!" Celestine grinned brightly at Diana.
"What are you doing here? - Mother is going to be so mad." Diana asked her in shock, going over to her young sister and making sure she was unharmed.
"Mother knows I have left, she had no choice in the matter; though, I won't be able to see her again." Celestine gave her a sad smile.
"What did the Prophecy say?" Diana asked, worry clear in her voice.
"I am to find my soul mate - I do not wish to say anything else about the Prophecy until then. No. I can not tell you or any one else until I find my male soulmate."
"...Did Hera have to get involved?" Diana sighed, already imagining their mother's reaction to hearing such a prophecy from their youngest.
"Aphrodite presented the prophecy in person, Mother could not deny anything a goddess comes to say in person."
"What if your soulmate already has someone?" Beast Boy asked her, popping up next to the two Amazons.
"Aphrodite had told me that they are not married. However, if they have one that they love already. I am not going to intervene, as long as the woman is good enough for the one who is my soul mate." Celestine said, a spear appearing in her hand and she slammed it on the ground.
"Did she tell you anything about your soulmate?" Black Canary asked, coming over to stand with the two amazons.
"I did not wish to know, I like a challenge." Celestine smirked, standing up tall.
"There's a lot of men in the world Celestine, it could take you years," Diana sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose.
"Here. She wrote the information down on a piece of paper incase I changed my mind," Celestine pulled a piece a paper out of her bra (?) and handed it to Diana.
"...this does help some." Diana said, a smirk appearing on her lips.
"Oh boy," Black Canary sighed,
Celestine and Beast Boy both peaked at the piece of paper,
"'Celestine's soulmate is a hero, who is highly likely in the room. I recommend teaching her about customs before you try finding her soulmate Diana, oh and. Do not ask about the Prophecy, it won't help in finding the Soulmate.'" Beast Boy read out loud.
"Celestine needs to kiss someone, that would be the fastest way of teaching her. Someone other than me, oh and gender doesn't matter." Diana said, to the group.
Captain Marvel shrugged his shoulders, floating over to the three women he kissed Celestine, surprising her and everyone else in the room. Celestine stood there, blinking a couple of times. Her face contorting in multiple expressions, before she looked to Diana.
"How much do you care about this place, Diana?" Celestine asked her, completely serious.
"I would sacrifice my life to protect it." Diana looked into Celestine's eyes, not looking away even when her eyes narrowed into a sharp glare.
Celestine pointed her spear right at Diana's chest, she didn't move an inch with her eyes still locked on Celestine's. Celestine sighed and put her spear away.
"I will do my duty then, let's go find my soulmate!" Celestine lifted her arm up, as if she was going to war. To her, she was. Because Men are unknown to her, and from what she learned from Captain Marvel, they were cruel beings.
