chapter sixteen

-Jughead's pov-

When we finished eating at Pop's we went to that abandoned sewer.

It's been an hour in a half of walking i felt like my legs were gonna fall off btw it was very painful guys.

"We're almost there" i said as i looked at them as we continued to walked another 2 hours before getting there.

When we got there, i opened the entrance to the sewer and climbed down the ladder with the others. When i hoped off the last step of the ladder and got a face full of rotten corps.....yes i almost threw up, it...it was kinda tragic anyways.

Whatever back to the story

When we started walking down the tunnel i started to notice how depressing this was...like come on really why does this have to have a back story to this abandoned sewer.

-Archie's pov-

While walking i noticed that Jughead started looking around at the empty walls, i put my arm around his waist as we continued to walk.

"I heard this tunnel leads to an abandoned city guys" Jughead said as his voice echoed through the tunnels "this place is freaky" Veronica said not sounding pleased about this "how did you get us to agree to do this with you Jug?" Betty asked as she crossed her arms.

I ain't gonna lie this place is creepy, how is Jughead not creepied out about this? Whatever, i sighed as i felt a pair of eyes Watching me, i looked around but to my surprise no one was lookin at me not even Jughead.

"Do you guys feel like your being watched?" I asked as i kept walking with my arm still around Jughead's waist, "eh yeah kinda" Jughead said as he kept looking at the tunnels walls. Right on cue when we i turned the corner we heard a scream of bloody murder.

-Jughead's pov-

Right on cue when we turned the corner we heard a scream of bloody murder. Ok now your all thinking 'you guys need to leave' or 'don't investigate' well jokes on you we're investigating anyways, but seriously where did that scream come from? It sounded like a girl? But when i read the article of the sewer it didn't say that a littke girl was roaming around the tunnels.

We started to hear yelling, screaming, running etc Betty and Veronica got kinds scared and me and Archie was to not gonna lie it was terrifying. "Let's go investigate it guys" i said as i swallowed the clog that was in my throat "are you crazy!? What if someone's in here wanting to kill us!?" Veronica practically yelled at me "listen princess" i said sarcastically "this sewer is in the middle of no where no one knows where the sewer is located, besides what we're probably hearing are the dead people screaming their lungs out oh wait THEIR DEAD THEIR NOT GONNA KILL U-" right on cue i- we heard a loud bang from the end of the tunnel.

-Archie's pov-

From the loud bang Jughead jumped from the unexpected noise. We looked down the tunnel and there goes Jughead running down the sewer tunnel not I'm not surprised but we ran after him. God he better not get himself killed or hurt.

When we found Jughead he was just....standing there, shocked? Shocked from what? When we looked at what he was looking at someone....not just anyone, reggie? But what? He's out of town, right? Yeah he is......wait THIS ISN'T REGGIE

"Guys is Reggie out of town?" Asked a nervous Jughead "yeah...he is" Veronica said "this isn't Reggie!" Both me and Betty yelled but not a second thought the body just.....disappeared? What's happening?

This is messed up.

-Veronica's pov-

It's been 5 minutes when we finally calmed down and continued to walk.

After awhile of walking, we were close to the end of the sewer "there should be a ladder at the end of this tunnel" Jughead said and to our surprise he was right, when we climed the ladder and climed out and me getting blinded by by the bright sun. "I wasn't lying about this abandoned city"

-two days later-

-Jughead's pov-

After we came back from out long adventure, i might have gotten sick out of the four of us it had to be me getting sick.

I sighed as i continued to type my novel, this is gonna be a long year, how many days left till summer? I don't know i lost count.

I clutched my stomach as i kept rushing to the bathroom and kept throwing up, this did not go out as planned.

After all that, i went back to the living room and continued my novel till i heard a knock, i groaned as i gotten up and went to the door.

When i opened the door no one was there "what the f-"i got interrupted by my dad asking what's wrong of course like any othet son or daughter they would say "nothing" and that's what exactly what i said when i shut the door "i just thought i heard someone knock" i said as i yawned "I'm gonna go take a nap.

During my nap i had a nighmare which is common sometimes but....but this one was different, i was running down the streets of that abandoned city, i ran into a building as something was chasing behind me. I kept running up the stairs and made a mad dash down the hall as i knew that thing was still following me, i saw a bathroom and ran inside it and locked the door, i didn't care which restroom i was in. When i locked the door the door knob started giggling, that's when i got a call, when i answered the person on the other side said "he's mad" the person said and the call ended "he? Who's he? Why is he mad?" I questioned myself and that's when i woke up panicking.

When i woke panicking something told me that city or that someone is in there cominh after us or, after me? I don't know but I'm gonna have to do some research on thay city. But let's talk about the sewer, why was that sewer located in the woods? How does all this lead to the city? This isn't adding up and I'm gonna have to fine what's so messed up about that city and the sewer.

But seriously, who's he? Why is he mad?, i jumped when i heard my phone rang i picked up my phone to see the number but...but the number doesn't seem familiar...wait...WAIT THAT NUMBER WAS FROM THAT NIGHTMARE, i sucked up the nerve and answered the call "h-hello?" I hesitated when i heard silence that's when the person said "he's mad...he's coming after YOU" the call ends.

This is now starting to scare me now. I'm gonna Archie and tell him to get over here now.

After i called Archie, he said that he'll be in 15. After awhile or so he finally showed up "took you long enough" i said as i looked at him "sorry that you live far from me" Archie said as he walked in.

-Archie's pov-

When Jughead told me everything that happen i was shocked but mostly worried about him "what does he want from you?" I asked as i had a worried expression on my face "that's the problem i don't know what he wants from me" Jughead said as he stayed on the couch with his arms draped on his stomach. I could tell that he was scared, so i decided that I'll stay with him till he's better but lucky for him that he's just throwing nothing contagious or whatever.

We made a mistake on going there, now we're gonna have to keep a close eye on him "did you tell F.P. yet?" I asked as i saw a even more scared/worried Jughead "not yet tonight i am" Jughead said as he took a deep breath "alright" was all i could say.

-later tonight-

-Jughead's pov-

I went to my dad to tell him what happened i could see the worried look in his eyes like any other parent well be for their child.

That night i was in my room passed out with my face shoved in my pillow when my phone went off managing to wake me up, when i woke up i grabbed my phone and instantly gets blindes by the light, i turned down the brightness and went to to read the message, the fu-? I didn't even bother about reading the rest as i put my phone back down and instantly went back to sleep.
