Chapter Nineteen

-Veronica's pov-

"You got suspended for that?" I asked looking at Jughead "yeah i know but I'm having a dead serial killer coming after me from the 1700s so i don't know why it's not coming after you" Jughead said crossing his arms.

-Jughead's pov-

I'm still wondering why he's coming after me and for what reason "jug" but why? Honestly, i don't know and i seriously want to know "jug", but....ok hopefully i can keep avoiding him "JUGHEAD" Betty and Veronica yelled causing me to jump "huh what" i said looking at them "you ok?" Betty asked worried about the situation that's happening right now "yeah I'm fine just thinking" i said rubbing my eyes.

"You look like you haven't slept in a week you look weak" Veronica said worried about my mental state right now.

"Wow thanks" i said with sarcasm in my tone.

"You ok" Betty questioned "i haven't been sleeping due to that fucking dead serial killer coming after me" i rest my head in my hands.

I felt the worried sensation rationing off of everyone. "you sure that everything is ok?" Betty was worried....wait...we never told her, and why haven't we told her yet, you may ask? well, let's just say we kind of forgotten that she was away for a bit so yeah..."Betty please don't get mad when I tell you what's been going on" I told her saw her expression change "Jug tell me what's going on now" she demanded. I sighed and told here everything that's been going on.  

A few days had past and it was getting worse here let me tell you.

Yesterday i was back walking around that abandoned city where the man was chasing me when i had that nightmare anyways getting sidetracked. When i was walking around to find out why I'm being hunted down by him 24/7 causing me to run on zero sleep and making me paranoid...of course so that's fucking great.

I kept walking around till i felt like i was being watched, i turned around to see who could been behind me and to my luck no one was there. I kept looking over my shoulder constantly.

I rounded the corner and saw a someone get out of my sight causing me to get uncomfortable. Yes i know you guys are probably thinking, why didn't you bring someone with you? Or why didn't you bring a weapon with you? Well let me tell you, i tried asking Archie to come with me cause i didn't Better and Veronica to be put in danger because of me and Archie said that he was busy due to football practice or some shit.

I tried looking for a weapon to bring with me but to my luck i couldn't so....yay.

So here i am...sitting in Pop's diner writing this. I don't think i can take this anymore. I'm running on zero sleep, I'm barely paying attention to what anyone is saying.

I'm paranoid, i can't sleep afraid that he'll be in my dreams or that he'll come for me while I'm sleeping and kill me.

I tried talking to someone about this but they wouldn't believe me and thinks I'm going insane and i think...i think their right.

No one else sees him. I tried making Archie see what I'm seeing. But this...this just made him even more worried about me..i don't blame him.

"Hey you ok?" I looked up and saw Archie, i motioned him to sit down which his does "i...i don't know what to do anymore. I can't sleep and I'm constantly looking behind me" i was on the verge of breaking down. I watched as Archie was thinking of what to say, what can he say? He was worried along with Betty and Veronica, besides their the only one's that belives me "try to sleep tonight, ok? And if you can't that's ok" Archie said "how bout this, if you can't sleep I'll come down to your place and try to help you, sound good?" I could do was nod.

That night i tried my hardest to sleep but i couldn't...i just laid there, staring at the wall. I rolled over to grab my phone when i saw a figure..standing in the corner of my room. I quickly turned the lights on and saw that it was gone, what is this now? Lights off or whatever the name of the movie is called? I tried to reassure myelf by sayibg it all in my imagination, what do they say? That your mind plays tricks on you when you tired?.

I grabbed my phone and texted Archie saying to come down here now.

I waited for a reply when i heard walking, i thought it was my dad walking outside the room, i heard my phone ding, i looked at the message from Archie saying that he's on his way.

I called out for my dad "hey dad?" "Yeah?" He replied "are you walking around?" "Yeah, why?" "Just...just wondering" i told him.

When Archie arrived. He walked inside and walked down to my room. Of course me being paranoid i almost attacked him "hey it's just me" i looked at him and sighed in relief.

"Guessing you couldn't sleep?" Archie asked while shutting the door "yeah" i said in a pathetic way.

Yeah yeah i know, I'm probably developing a fear of being terrified of the dark, but it's normal...........right?

"Come on let's head to bed" I nodded in agreement and went to lie down with him.

I cuddled up against him. I felt everything around me disappear. I felt like i was safer when Archie is here with me.

It was the next day.

I woke up around 4:50 PM. I looked beside me and saw that Archie was gone. I haven't had nightmares last night for once.

I decided to get up and get dressed for the rest of the day. "Hey you woke up late" i looked at the couch and saw that Archie was still here. I smiled a little "yeah" i replied back while heading to the bathroom to brush my teeth "slept well I'm guessing?" "Yep" i answered and began brushing my teeth.

Once i finished doing everything else in there i finally walked out and went to sit next to him. I looked over at him and kissed his cheek "i love you" i told him before resting my head on his shoulder.

That day when i was hanging out with Archie and the girls, i saw something well more like someone. Remember that man? Yeah...he's back again.

I felt my soul leave my body while ignoring everything around me, all i could focus on was him and him only.

I snapped back into reality when i felt someone shake me. I looked beside me and saw Archie and them worried "you sure your ok?" Betty was worried along with the others. All i could do was nod.

I felt a pair of eyes staring straight at me.

When i turned around i saw it.
