chapter twenty-two

-Jugheads pov-

On my way back to that abandoned city i felt like someone was following me. Of course i turned around and no one was there so i kept walking.

Once i got closer to my destination everything felt...off.

I kept walking while trying to ingore the feeling of being watched. Now my real question is, who was the person that called me? Well that's what I'm gonna fine out...hopefully.

When i got closer to the abandoned city i ended up turning around and seeing that fucking thing. The some fucking person that's been trying to kill me.

"God damn it"

The next thing i remember doing is running non stop, i couldn't stop for anything especially when that thing is chasing after me.

I rounded the corner and kept on running. I heard that thing getting closer...and closer.

I ended up stopping. I don't know what came over me but when i turned around that thing was closer.

So i got pissed off and did what any person would...i grabbed the nearest pole and literally swung the pole at its head.

If you were in this situation you would have to build up the courage to literally swing the pole at someones head and then hear the fucking crack from the skull. Anyways where was i..oh yes.

After awhile of being in that City for who knows how long. I finally was able to leave and be able to life my life hopefully.

When i was walking down the street i heard my phone ringing. I took out my phone and looked at the caller ID i noticed it's Archie "Hey" i answered "hey, you ok? You been gone almost all day" Archie replied. "Um yeah I'm fine, I'm just now coming back" "great, cya when you get here" and with that the conversation ended.

I kept walking.

When i got back home i texted Archie that i got home safe and went on for the rest of the night.

When the next day arrived. Everything still seemed kinda off.

I decided to get dressed and do everything else before continuing on with the day.

When i was walking down the street to Pop's diner to continue working on my novel like i normally do.

I sighed and leaned against the back of of the booth. "Damn" is all i had to say.

Yeah everything feels off still. But now i need to know is why the teachers are still acting strange. Somethings up still and its not that thing anymore at least i hope not....

I heard the bell chime signalling that someone has entered. "Haven't seen you in along time" i looked up and saw motherfucking Reggie the fucking assface.

"What do you want" i demanded looking at him "what am i not allowed to see you" he said while coming closer "no, unless you wanna be stabbed with scissors by Betty again" i reminded him from that day when we fought each other.

"Shut the hell up" he stood there staring "why don't you make me cause I'll be more than happy to tell them about you" i smirked before going back to typing.

"Little shit-" i cut him off by saying "oh yeah? At least i don't look like a grown 13 year old little boy mixed with a fucking horse ass" i watched him flip me off before leaving "right back at ya".

After the encounter with that jackass, i began texting Betty, Veronica and Archie in the group chat about my encounter with Reggie. And of course Betty and Veronica's mom side came out.

Veronica: oh hell no.

Betty: where is he we'll beat his ass again

Jughead: yeah the last you did that Veronica literally whipped him with a damn belt and then you Betty literally stabbed him WITH A PAIR OF SCISSORS. And Archie don't get me started on what you did.

Archie: haha yeah i know.

~Veronica changed Jugheads name to Burger king-

Bk: really?

Veronica: yes really

BK: does the teachers seem off to you guys?

Betty: yeah kinda

Archie: i noticed how strange their acting to

Veronica: yeah they been acting strange for awhile now

After the conversation ended i decided to to go fine out whats been going on with the teachers.

So...lets do this again and try not to get suspended...again.

The last few days had went by. I haven't seen that thing around anymore so thats a good thing.

When i arrived to school i immediately went to fine Principal Honey.

"Principal Honey" i watched as he turned around to look at me "what is it?" He questioned "i need to know why the teachers here are acting strange right now" i told him but of course that didn't work when he told me this "unfortunately i can't tell that...at least not here" "what do you mean by that?" I crossed my arms now getting invested in this.

"Come by my office later today" and with that he left. I gotta say he's kinda good ok not like that but you get what i meant by that just don't get the wrong idea.

Later on that day i decided to go down to the office.

When i walked in i immediately shut the door and leaned against it "ok I'm here tell me now" i demanded as he stopped doing whatever the hell he was fucking doing.

"The reason why the teachers are acting strange is things are getting changed around here" i watched him get up "people like you are always assuming things" watching him get closer and closer. I moved away from the door.

"What?" "What do you mean what. I'm the principal here now and things are gonna be different around here" he finished talking and opened the door "teachers are gonna be stricker for now on" "what are you getting at" "you know Jughead, you don't know when to stop do you" he turned to look at me "i know when to stop i choose not to" i walked out of the room annoyed by him.

I went to lunch to fine Archie and the girls.

"So how did it go?" Betty asked as i sat down next to Archie "found out that the teachers are gonna be stricker and things are being changed around here is what he said. He said that i didn't know when to stop" i finished and restsd my arms on the table.

"He's right about the last part kinda" Veronica said making eye contact with me "not you to".
