You wrap your arms around me.
I rest my face on your chest and close my eyes.
You kiss the top of my head.
I inhale,
taking in your fragrance that I am so familiar with.
And ever so lightly,
the knot in my chest,
which had settled itself in place when you left,
unravels.

Knot
You wrap your arms around me.

You kiss the top of my head.
I inhale,
taking in your fragrance that I am so familiar with.
And ever so lightly,
