Chapter 4: The day

(The day of the entrance exam for UA)

Savanna's Pov

~BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP~

I shot my eyes open to the sound of my alarm clock going off. I sit up and turn the alarm clock. Alright today is the big day! I thought to myself. I hopped out of bed and slipped on my slippers. Looking at calendar on my wall I smile softly and stretch my arms in the air.

I walk to the bathroom to start my ~morning routine~.

Today I had a hard time picking out what to where and that left me flinging stuff out of my closet for a good 10 minutes. Just as a was giving up and was about to put on my regular training gear I'm interrupted a loud knock on my door.

"GOOD MORNING SAVANNA!!" my dad said busting the door open scaring my soul out of my body.

"AH! dad good morning." I say calming myself. I look to see what looked like clothes in his hands.

"I picked you out an outfit to wear. But you don't have to if you don't wanna."

My eyes widen and I couldn't be happier that my dad picked something because if not I would have a fit. "Thanks dad now get out so I can get finish getting ready!" I say snatching the clothes out of his hands.

"alright alright." he walks out and closes the door.

I take a look at the Purple body suit with white trims at the tips of the sleeves and ankles of it. But most importantly I noticed the white X on the upper chest. Resembling the new scar you had on your neck going to your chest. I smiled as that made me feel a little more comfortable with the new scars. I slip into it and it hugs my body tightly but just enough for comfort. I could tell it was fireproof from the feel of the fabric.

I walk out my room and make a smoothie and eat an energy bar.

Dad was on the couch watching TV and surprisingly he was dressed nicely. I sipped my smoothie.

"Why are you dressed nice?" I raise an eyebrow walking to the dinning table.

He got up walking to the dinning table. "I'll be watching you at the exam." I choked on my smoothie as he finished his sentence. "w-why are you coming.? You hid all this time and now suddenly you wanna show your face. Besides you aren't allowed anyway." I said slightly irritated.

He looked my annoyed face and sighed " Well as a former pro I'm sure they wont mind and besides your strong enough to defend yourself now so it's fine." He said snapping back at my attitude.

"Fine. BUT you aren't walking in the same time as me. I don't want to draw attention to us they don't even know you have a kid in the first place." I said calming my nerves.

"That's fine I guess. I'll be watching you and if you fail I swear your training will be twice as hard."

I shook my head and stood up as I finished my smoothie. "Alrighty then ill go first." I grabbed my fireproof platformed boots and slip them on. I wave and smile back at my dad and head out.

(10 minutes later)

I arrive at the school and walk in with a rush of nervousness filling my entire body causing me to stumble I gulp and clear my head and kept walking. Then I saw him. The boy with the wild green hair on the edge of falling. I laugh and run over to him holding him up by his jacket.

"Hi again."

He turns his head my direction and chuckles nervously. I put him down and he stands back up.

"Your the quirk less boy that tried to help that no good bastard messing with the villain right?" I question.

"Oh Kacchan? He's not that bad and it was m-" "wait your the girl who pushed me out the way to save Kacchan right!?" He said with the biggest smile on his face. Going into a daze

"y-yea that was me." I say a little intrigued by his expression. "I'm Savanna Fey but you can call me Vanna for short." He snapped back to reality. he chuckled "I-Im Izuku Midoriya you can call me anything you want." I nod. "Well Izuku do you wanna walk in together?" I ask politely "Sure!" He said brushing himself off. We start walking into the building and wait inside to go into the auditorium. Little did I know he was staring at my scars but didn't say anything about it.

"hey how do you know him. Yanno hothead?" I said.

"Oh we're childhood friends!" I nod as that makes sense.

I started to zone out thinking why this quirkless boy here. I not paying attention and run into a girl with short brown hair. I get up quickly snapping back into reality.

"Oh My Gosh I'm so sorry" I helped her up as I could see Izuku holding his laughter in. I simply chose to ignore him.

She gets up with my help "It's ok!"

She stares at my purple eyes in aw. "Woah your eyes are SO pretty!" I blush slightly. "thank you." I smile looking away. I see Izuku checking the girl out so I decide to introduce them.

"Oh I almost forgot. I'm Savanna Fey but you can call me Vanna. And this is Izuku Midoriya." I caught his attention saying his name and he blushed almost instantly. He chuckled "Yep that's me." He said nervously. I noticed she looked at his with a flushed face and studded over her words. " Oh I-I'm Ochaco Uraraka." she said stumbling over her words. I chuckle at their interaction. Then we see everyone running past us and screams of joy were heard. I lift my brown in confusion. "what's going on?" The three of us ask in sync.

A student passing us stopped to tell us " A retired pro hero is here!! COME AND SEE!" I knew exactly who he was talking about. Midoriya and Ochaco's face lit up.

"You guys go check it out I have to use the restroom."

They nod sprinting off with the rest of the people as I walked the other way.

Then the presence of all the students around me was felt as I got a tap on my shoulder. I knew who it was and turned around painfully slow. "Hello there youngling." My dad or should I say Equality said.

"Hi!" I said with a fake happy expression hiding the fact that was annoyed. I saw Izuku's eyes glossy as he couldn't believe who he was seeing. I sigh "I should get going equality the exams start soon." He smiled patting my shoulder firmly and nodded. "Good luck." He said and that calmed me a bit. I walk away and soon after Ochaco and Izuku followed after getting an autograph by my dad. They looked at me with big eyes and I knew what they wanted. I sigh and smiled.

"He's my dad but you have to PROMISE not to tell anyone." Both their jaws drop to the floor from shock. They walk in disbelief and amazement.

"We will!" Ochaco said.

"So does that mean you have multi quriks too?" Izuku blurted out.

"Well kinda. You'll find out soon. Now lets go get our spots early." I said changing the subject.

We walk into the auditorium before everyone else just waiting. Both of them still had their eyes locked on me. I knew that they had more questions but I hoped that they could wait. SO they did.

"Today's the day I start my hero journey"
