Chapter 5: Entrance exams

(Savanna's POV)

As we sit in the auditorium others students start to fill in the seats. I sat between Izuku and Ochacco, then I saw him. The white/beige haired kid making his way to the seat next to Izuku.

"Oh hey kacchan!" Izuku said with a smile "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE DEKU!?" kacchan yelled. "So your name is Kacchan huh?" I said nonchalantly looking foward.

"ITS KASUKI BAKUGO TO YO-" he stops realizing who I was. "WHAT? WHY ARE YOU HERE.!?" he screams drawing attention to us. "Well for one you should stop yelling and clam down. Two I'm here the same reason as everyone else. To become a hero." I said looking at his very agitated face. "She's also the daug-" I cut Izuku off elbowing him in the stomach. I gave him a stern look and he shut up. Bakugo looked at us confused but minded his business. "Tsk whatever" he scoffs.

"hey so what's you-"

"THANKS FOR TUNING IN TO ME YOUR SCHOOL DJ!" Bakugo was cut of by present mic. "C'MON LET ME HEAR YA!" he yelled.

~silence~

" ah keeping it mellow huh? WELL THATS OK!" While Present mic continues talking and explaining the rules I take a look around. I look carefully at each student and observing if I could get any leads on what their quirks may be. My eyes trail to Bakugo's body and I examine him a little closer 'he might have a fire quirk or something' I thought. He's pretty good-looking for someone who has a rude personality. He caught me staring and I whip my head back to Present mic out of pure embarrassment.

"I know I'm attractive and all but you don't have to stare so much" He said in a smirk. I scoff.

"tsk you wish." I said. I look Izuku as he mutters quite loudly. Suddenly a kid in glasses stands up. He was talking Present mic then turned to look at the muttering Izuku next to me "Stop that. If you can't take this seriously then leave." He said plainly.

"Sorry" He said, his face red as a tomato.

(fast forward to exam time.)

-Savanna's POV-

I'm kinda nervous but I shake the nerves off. I think about Izuku 'how will he manage to get in without a quirk?' I thought to myself. I look at the other kids and prepare myself for the exam.

"READY. SET. GO. AND GOOD LUCK!" Everyone start running but me. I stood there not moving a muscle. I panic wondering why I cant move. Every negative thought filled my mind. Terrifying me. Just then Izuku grabs my arms and pulls me out my head. I snap back to reality and start running.

"HEY YOU OK!?" he yelled.

"yea I'm fine!" I say retrieving my arm from his grip.

He keeps running and so do I. We run past debris and frozen robot pieces. 'whoever has that ice quirk must be really strong.' I thought. As I look back up Midorya was gone he must have ran ahead. Just then a 2 pointer robot came in front of me. I smirk and get ready to defeat it.

"hell ya lets do this!"

My hair started to glow red and strips of of grey ran through it along with my eyes now Glowig red and grey.

I decided to use my fire first. With the help of my air quirk I speed behind the robot before it could turn around and blasted a huge blast to its right side. Just like that half of the robot was pure ash. I start to sweat and pant. (one of the downsides of my quirk is that I lose energy faster then others.) It starts to fall towards a building but I use my quirk to guide it down gently causing minimal damage.

"One down a lot more to go " I say out of breath. I caught back up with the others after a while.

After defeating a few more robots and racking some more points up I'm almost completely drained. I stop as a giant robot stops in front of me and all the others. Ochaco uses her quirk. Zero Gravity. I watch in awe until she's knocked down. "OCHACO!"  Everyone looked at me curious and in awe seeing my hair and eyes red and grey.

I run towards her but stop seeing Izuku ahead of me running with a green energy surrounding him. I watch him out of curiosity and shock.

"h-he has a quirk?" I said in disbelief.

He speeds up the robot and strikes it, sending it flying backwards. "NO FUCKING WAY!?" I say. The other kids look just as shocked as me. His arm is shattered along with his legs. I guess that's a side effect with his quirk. I run to help Ochaco. "Hey you ok?" I ask. She was totally memorized by what just happened. "Ochaco? Helloooo earth to Ochaco." I say waving my hand in her face. She snaps back into reality. "oh yeah yeah I'm fine." she said rubbing the back of her face with a weird smile on her face.

Just like that the exams were over.

(A little later)

"I hope he's ok." Ochaco sighs sitting on the bench.

"Yeah me too...Hey now that I think about it he didn't get any points. the robot he fought was worth nothing...He knew that and still did what he did. I have to say I admire him." I say with compassion. Ochaco stares at my white hair deep in thought.

"Maybe since we got quite a few points we can share ours so he can get in!" Ochaco suggested

"Of course! Let's do it!" We get up from the bench and walk back into the now empty building.

(A little later again)

After hours of convincing we let them take some of our points and give them to Izuku. We leave the room and as soon as we step out I fall to my knees and sigh a heavy sigh. "Thank God it worked!" I say sighing. "Well now that we all have enough point to enter UA I hope we have the same class!" Ochaco says lifting me back up. "I hope so! Well I'm gonna get going. I hope I see you in the same class tomorrow." I say cheerfully.

"Ok! bye Vanna!" Ochaco says "Bye Ochaco." I say and walk away.

'Today was a good day' I thought to myself.
