Chapter 11: Dream

(Savanna's POV)

I could barely hear or see anything. My body felt like I was on fire until I felt a cold touch. It soothed my fever a little and I felt less tense. I as myself being carried. I hate being picked up but this time I choose not fight it.

While I felt the coldness cool me down I looked up to the boy half covered in ice. I felt somewhat safe in his arms but I shook that feeling off. It was getting hard to keep my eyes open and everything went black for the second time.

(Todoroki's POV)

As I was carrying Savanna she felt like holding a fire ball. I couldn't believe someone could get this hot and not burn alive. I carried her while keeping her cool. I could feel her staring at me for a while but that feeling went away. I looked at her but her head was rocked back and her eyes are now closed. 'hang in there' I thought to myself.

"Hey Recovery girl she passed out again." I said with little concern in my voice. "We should walk a little faster. Keep her temp down." I nod and followed behind the old lady.

I have this thought that Equality and her are related. I mean they fought with the same quirks so it makes sense. My dad seemed all to happy when Equality left. But now that he's back I don't know what he'll do.

"Recovery girl may I leave?" I asked 

"Sure thank you for helping with her." She responds and I left. Apart of me wanted to stay but I still chose to leave.

(3rd person POV with Midoriya and Equality)

Equality asked if he knew who Vanna was to him. He answered truthfully. Though equality didn't know this kid to well he felt he could trust him so he told him all the unfortunate events. "Now that you know everything I ask that you find out where she's staying at." Equality requested. Midoriya was flustered at the request and hesitated. "O-ok sir..." he responded.

 "I hope I can trust you with her. She's a sensitive kid so be a good to her. Have any questions? About me anyway."

 Equality said suddenly changing the subject. Midoriya's fanboy kicked in and started to ask questions taking notes.

What they didn't know was that Bakugo was listening the whole time. Though he didn't show that he cared he silently did. He could kind of understand why Vanna acted the way she did. "Dammit...I don't like the girl but she's tough. A dummy but tough." He said walking away. ' I don't know why but I want to protect her' he thought but brushed it off.   Everyone went their separate ways and Equality went to the nurses office was.

(Savanna's Dream/Memory POV)

"H-hey what's wrong?" My younger self asked a boy with red hair. "Just go away." the boy said. I frowned and puffed my cheeks out. "Now I know somethings really wrong. Come on tell meeeee." I sang. The boy turned to me with a bruised face. 

I gasped the boy had tears in his eyes. I felt awful. " You don't have to tell me what happened..." I felt tears in my eyes. We stood there for a while.

I felt the need to comfort him so I gave him a hug. He was taken aback but soon enough broke down in my arms. Once he calmed down I knew I needed to lighten the mood. "hmm... Let's go play in the sand box!" I say standing up from the end of the slide. "No that's boring." the boy responded. I frown. "Well....well let's go on the swings. I can make you go really high!" I said pulling the kid by the arm.

"Yeah we'll see about that" he muttered under his breath

-A while later-

"Here... I want you to have this! I don't know what's going on but just know I'll be with you to protect you." I smile giving him a ring with a purple stone in the middle. "You don't even know me so keep it." 

I sigh and shove it in his hand. "You're gonna keep it." I say sternly to which he laughed. It was the first time he smiled. So it made me happy I was able to lighten the mood.

 "Hey what's your name anyway?" I asked curiously.

"Oh my name is T-" "TOYA WHERE ARE YOU!" Someone cut him off. He stood up very fast scaring me so I did the same. I was confused but the smile that was once on the boys face was long gone. 

"I have to go now." He said running away. "Wai-" Before I could finish he came back giving me the biggest hug. " I'll never forget you Snow Bunny." I chuckled at the nickname and hugged him back. " Well if you're gonna give me a silly nickname I should return the favor. How about...." I stopped and laughed hard at what I was about to say. I pulled from the hug.

"I'll call you...actually you choose Darling or Dabi?" I said tilting my head. "I like Dabi more." He said. "But I like darling more... oh well I'll just call you both from now on!" He nodded and we said our goodbyes. 

We met exactly 3 more times at the same park before he never showed up again. I will never forget our last words to each other. 

"Bye Darling or should I say Dabi! I'll see ya tomorrow!" I said waving him goodbye.

"Ok! Cya later Snow bunny." He said and with that we parted separate ways. 

-End of dream/memory-

(Savanna's POV)

I woke up still in the nurses office. To my right was my dad. I looked the other way attempting to stand almost falling but managed. 

"Where are you staying at?" He asked. I was hurt and upset he didn't even ask if I was ok. "None of your business. All you need to know is that I'm safe where I am." I snapped and left the room. I could tell school ended because no one was there.

I grabbed all my stuff, changed back into my uniform and headed out. Although I was sore I managed to get on the motorcycle and get home. The whole way home I couldn't stop myself from thinking about the dream I had. It was to real to be fake so it had to be a memory. Where is that kid at now... I hope he's ok.
