Chapter 8: training

(Savanna's POV)

BEEP BEEP BE-

I cut the alarm off seeing that I was already awake and restless. I got up and got dressed in a sports bra and leggings revealing the scares on my chest and wrist. I didn't mind it. I was used to it by now. I went to the bathroom and combed through my hair and put it in a ponytail. I went to the kitchen to make a green smoothie and quickly drank it up.

"Alright where should I go? Hmm...Lets go to... the beach for today." I said as I got my shoes on and headed towards the door.

It was still dark 'hm I should run to the beach since is 15 mins away and I need to build up stamina' I thought to myself as I entered the elevator. A minute later I left from the elevator and walked towards the automatic double doors.

"Heading out this early Ms. Fey?" The front desk worked asked.  She examined my scars but didn't care too much.

"Yep! Gotta train early." I said polity, took the water bottle and bowed lightly. She chuckled "You're just like your mother, always working hard! Speaking of which where is she?" She looked around me only to see nothing but the empty space. "She's not here...and she's not coming anytime soon..." I said sadly droping my head. (side note: Vanna and the front desk lady Ms. Connie have a good relationship because her and her mom were good friends)

"Oh I see she left already..." The Lady mumbles. I couldn't hear what she said.

"Huh what did you say?" I lift my head with a curious face. "Oh nothing! You should get going though!" She said smiling creepily big.

"Yeah I'll see you later Ms. Connie bye." I wave and walk out. She waves back.

(time skip to the beach)

"Wow I'm surprised I was able to hold up I would usually be on the verge of passing out." I say to myself surprised I was able to hold up as long as I did. "Alright this is the first time I'm trying out my water side so hopefully I can do good with it." I said stretching. I remove my shoes and move my toes in the sand relaxing as much as possible.

"Ok here we go."

As I close my eyes my hair starts to glow blue. I focus on the sound of the waves and open my, now blue eyes. I stretch my arms out and water starts rushing towards me, so I pull my arms back and all the water started rushing towards the sky creating a wall.

"OH MY GOD! WHO IS DOING THAT" A bystander screams as they pull their phone to record.

I heard their remarks and panic a little. I throw my arms down to my side and all the water falls back into place. I suddenly became very dehydrated, My hair is back to white and my eyes are back to purple. "Oh my gosh...I wasn't even doing my best and that happened." I say as my hands start to shake. "Just how strong am I?" I question.

Despite what happened I had just one question. "Can the water come from me?" I say and just like that my hair and eyes turn blue again. All of a sudden I start to sweat and tears roll from my eyes to my bra. Though I'm not crying the tears wont stop.

"ah so that must be it! " I cuff my hands to a ball and all the water on my body was now in my hands, so I decided to throw it up.

"Woah it's pretty" I say as it falls down like rain

"alright now that I've sorta figured out my water side it's time to try earth." "Sand is apart of the earth so this should work..right?" I question but shake it off.

"Ok now lets see my hair should glow green when I use my earth like dad." I let my ponytail down and put my hands facing the ground. I push my hand expecting something to happen and...

~nothing~

Absolutely nothing happened. "Ok! that's ok. It was a first try so it's fine." I say giving self a pep talk.

~5 mins later~ ~nothing~

"UGH! this is so annoying!" I say getting angry. Suddenly my hair started and eyes started to glow yellow and everything seemed to be in slow motion. I jumped of anger and when I landed the ground next to me was 1ft lower then it was before. "I DID IT! WAIT YELLOW!?" I examine my hair and the ground. I jump again this time harder and this time it went 2 ft deeper.

"WHATTTTT!?" I say in a comical voice, the ground now 3ft deeper. "ok I need to figure out how to reverse this..."

I put my hands in the sand. "Go back to before." I say and it does as instructed.

"YES! IM A G.O.A.T! I learned to use all of my quirk now! almost anyway..." I mumbled that last part. I tired to stand up but lost my balance. So I tried getting up again but I was very wobblily. "I guess I know the side effects." My hair and eyes return to it's natural color.

-Autor's voice- "LETS NOW REVEIW THE SIDE EFFECTS OF VANNA'S QUIRKS! Fire! when over used Vanna can have a high fever. sheesh talk about a hot girl ;) Next is Air! When she uses her air quirk it causes breath loss quickly but with more stamina it won't get lost as quickly. Water! When she uses her water side she get dehydrated. Simple really. FINNALLY EARTH! When she over uses her this one her equilibrium goes wonky and she can't stand very well. IT SEEMS LIKE IF SHE WERE TO USE ALL OF THEM AT ONCE SHE WOULD DIE! OUCH GUESS HER FATHER HAS A POINT ON ONLY LETTING HER USE 2 INSTEAD OF ALL!"

(Back to Savanna's POV)

I check my phone and see the time

" 4:58!!! MAI WILL KILL ME IF I'M LATE!" I say rushing to get my shoes back on.

" I wont make it I'll have to fly this time...only this once." I say and my hair and eyes glow grey. I fly towards the studio and make at 5:00 am on the dot. "made it I said." On the verge of passing out. I see Mai walk into the lobby of the studio from the glass doors. I take a deep breath, let my hair and eyes go back to it's original color then walk in.

"YOU MADE IT!" Mai said running to give me a bone crushing hug. Before I got the chance to speak I was cut off.

"Don't say anything. I know you're nervous but everyone is super nice and all ready to meet you." She said releasing me from her embrace and directing me to a recording room.

"Hi everyone I'm Savanna Fey the new member of High Notte. Please call me Vanna It's nice to meet you all!" I say bowing to the 6 people in the studio.

"Hi it's nice to meet you too!" They say in unison. Just then three girls run up to me. Mai still standing next to me.

"Hi I'm Emily but call me Emi!" A girl with blond hair blurts out.

"Hi I'm Maddie but everyone calls me mads!" A girl with pink short hair said with the biggest smile.

"Hello I'm the oldest of all the girls! My name is Valarie. You can call me Val." The oldest with blue long hair said and bowed.

"And you already know who I am duh." Mai said moving bangs from her face.

"Hey what that on your chest and wrist? I've never seen them before." Mai said and everyone's attention shifted to my body. "Oh umm...I'm not really sure they just appeared one day." I say truthfully.

"Well I think they look amazing." The director said walking up to me. Along side him were the producer and choreographer. "I'm Director Park and this is our producer Mr. Dante and choreographer Ms. Lily." Mr. Park said and the all bowed my way and I did the same.

"I look forward to working with you! We have a lot to do this week too!" Ms. Lily points out. "Yep but we need to record the song first so lets go!" Mr. Dante says sitting down in a his chair.

"Alright let's go!" High Notte says in unison

Alright this was already a long chapter so I'm gonna make a pt.2 Of training tysm for 120 reads tho :3 1453 words sheesh!
