Chapter 11
I just had to ask.
Not only was this supper timing for Liam to walk in on Louis and I messing around, but to make things even worse Josh had called very drunk on the other end of the phone.
Apparently some paps got a picture of me and one of the boys at the airport and jumped to conclusions saying I was their girlfriend or something. It took me almost half the concert to calm him down and talk him out of drunkenly booking the next flight here to drag me back home.
Then to make matters worse, as I was convincing him to stay put, telling him how much I missed him, that it's super boring here, and that he would not have fun, who else but Liam turns the corner just in time to hear me say all of this.
This night sucks.
I had just hung up with Josh and was going to find Liam to explain when someone came running to push all the boys back on stage for the second half of their show. I only caught a glimpse of Liam as he went and...wait, is Liam crying?
He walked by with his head down and it seemed like his cheeks were wet with tears. Maybe it was just the lighting? I hope what he heard didn't cause him to cry.
I decided to wait for him outside the dressing rooms after the show was over to try and explain, to see if he was alright but he never came. I asked Zayn where he was.
"He went straight back to the car. Something about not feeling well and wanting to lay down," was all I got before we all were shoved back into the car and back to the hotel.
The ride to the hotel was short but felt like a million years to me. None of the boys spoke saying they were too tired to do anything. On top of that I had to sit next to a very smelly Niall.
When we reached the hotel Liam was the first one out followed by a concerned Zayn. I hung back until the boys were all inside, it was a cool night and the air felt good on my face.
"You coming?" Paul called holding the door open to the back entrance of the hotel.
"Yeah." I sighed heading for the door.
The elevator ride with Paul was the hardest part of the night because he just kept asking questions.
"What's wrong? Did you like the concert? Is it just like you remember? Did you hear Louis solo? Liam seemed upset in the second half. Did you notice?" This last question hit the hardest.
When I reached my hotel room I could hear the shower running. Niall must be in. Good. He smelled so bad.
It was almost midnight and all I wanted to do was lay in bed and forget this day happened.
I pulled off my clothes and put a pair of shorts and Louis' oversized shirt on. Yes I still have it. What? He didn't ask for it back.
I took off my make-up and pulled my hair into a messy bun. I looked at the comfy bed in front of me and flopped on it. The sheets welcomed me like an old friend as I sank in, it felt so good to relax. I was so ready to let myself drift off when Niall came out of the bathroom.
"Oh no you dont. Not yet at least. We are having that talk," he said.
I groaned as he threw a pillow at me. What is with him throwing things at people lately? We are not piñata!
"Oh don't give me that. You're the one who said you wanted to talk, so talk. Besides, I already ordered the pizza." Niall came over and sat on the other side of my bed.
I rolled over and stared at the ceiling not saying anything for a long time.
"Well?" Niall spoke up.
