"Rory?"

Aurora stood on the front porch of the Dunbar's household. She had tears running down her cheeks and her hair was sticking up in every direction. She looked like a mess

She looked up and her eyes met Liam's blue ones. She tried to smile at him but instead choked on a sob.

Liam pulled her into the house and picked her up. He carried her up the stairs and into his room. He sat on his bed and held her on his lap.

Mrs. Dunbar walked by her sons room when she heard the sound of crying. Her eyes softened as she saw her son with Aurora on his lap as the girl sobbed.

Liam didn't even look up, he just kept his focus on Aurora. Mrs. Dunbar just closed his door and left the two alone.

"Baby, what happened?" He asked softly as she nuzzled her head into the crook of his neck. She shook her head and tried to move closer to him if that was even possible.

"I didn't know where to go." She said quietly.

"You can stay here." Even though he didn't know what happened, Liam knew she wouldn't want to go back home. She needed him. "Can you tell me what happened?"

Aurora slowly sat up but stayed straddling his legs. Liam cupped her face and wiped her tears.

"Stiles and I had a fight." she said quietly. "We yelled at each other and he-- I let everything out. I told him how I felt. How he made me feel. I even showed him how he made me feel."

"What do you mean showed him?" Liam asked. Aurora took a deep breath and rolled up her sleeves.

She expected Liam to freak out and get mad at her but he didn't. Liam gently grabbed her arm and ran his thumb over some of the more healed cuts.

"Why?" he asked calmly.

"I hated myself." she admitted sadly. Liam looked up at her with sad eyes. "No one ever checked up on me. It felt like no one truly cared. I felt like no one would care if I was gone." she let a few tears slip.

Liam lifted her arm and kissed each individual cut. Aurora choked on a sob but a smile made it's way to her face. He did the same to the other arm.

"I care." he told her and cupped her face. "I'm sorry that you ever felt like that. You shouldn't have had to go through that alone." she nodded and wiped her eyes.

"I'm sorry." she chuckled dryly.

"Why are you sorry?"

"You shouldn't have to deal with me. Deal with this. I'm a burden." she said.

"Aurora." she looked into his eyes. "You're never a burden to me. You mean the absolute world to me and I don't know what I would do without you. I asked you to be my girlfriend because I wanted to deal with you. Even if you are stubborn as hell." Aurora chuckled making Liam smile.

She leaned down and kissed him softly on the lips. She brought her hands up and played with the hair on the back of his neck. Liam cupped her face and ran his thumb over her cheek.

"You can stay the night here." He told her as they pulled away. "You can borrow some clothes if you want." he said but Aurora noticed the blush on his cheeks and giggled.

"You want me to wear your clothes Dunbar?" She teased.

"Well technically, if you're my girlfriend now, that's part of the package is you have to wear my clothes." He smiled.

"Hmm." she acted like she was thinking about it and put her finger on her chin.

Liam scoffed and grabbed her waist and flipped her around onto the bed making her shriek. He started tickling her sides and she started laughing and squirming around.

"Ah! Stop it!" She tried but she just kept laughing.

"Say it!" He told her as kept tickling her side.

"Nope." she kept laughing as he tickled her sides more.

"Say it!"

"No!"

"Say it!"

"Never!"

"Say it!"

"Fine, I'll be your girlfriend!" she laughed loudly and Liam smiled. He stopped tickling her and he hovered over her.

"Really?" He asked. Aurora smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Yes, I'll be your girlfriend."

"Thank god." Liam placed his lips on hers making her smile. He pushed a strand of hair out of her face and she giggled into the kiss.

"Really?" She quirked an eyebrow as they pulled away.

"Now I get to do that whenever I want." He smirked proudly.

"Yes you do." she smiled and connected their lips again.

The two teens spent the rest of the night cuddling and talking.

"You know," Aurora rolled over from her spot as little spoon and looked at Liam as he spoke, "You could like totally wear my lacrosse hoodie to school tomorrow."

Aurora smirked. "You know you could like, totally wear my scrunchie to school tomorrow." She mocked and he chuckled. Liam pushed her hair out of her face.

"As long as people know you're mine." He told her and pecked her lips. She smiled.

"I'll wear your hoodie. You don't even have to ask."

"Good." he smiled. Aurora let out a noise of surprise as Liam rolled over so he was laying almost completely on top of her. He layed his head in the crook of her neck as she ran her nails up and down his shirtless back.

"mmmm that feels food." he hummed making her chuckle.

"You're such a little baby." she laughed.

"Whatever" He held her waist tighter and laid his head on her chest. "You're boobs are comfy pillows." She scoffed and hit him on the head.

She put a hand in his hair and scratched his head and ran one up and down his back.

"Oh this is heaven." He moaned and squished his face more into her chest. She rolled her eyes. "I love having a girlfriend already."

Aurora grinned and kissed his forehead. Liam pulled her closer and slowly started to fall asleep. Aurora heard soft snores coming from the boy but didn't stop what she was doing.

She thought back to everything that happened. She was mad at Stiles and probably wasn't going to forgive him for a while. There was no way she could avoid him because they still had the supernatural to deal with.

It hurt when he said that Malia was his number one girl. He basically admitted that she would come first.

It wasn't the fact that Stiles had a girlfriend that bothered her. It was the fact that he so quickly left Aurora in the dirt. She felt alone and she didn't have anyone.

Then she met Liam and he changed everything. He turned her whole world around. He became her anchor and she became his. She never thought that he would mean so much to her but he did. He meant everything to her.

It felt like he was all she had right now. He made her laugh when she felt like she was hurting inside. He made her genuinely smile for the first time in a long time.

She realized that everything would be okay, as long as she had him.
