Liam ended up scoring that goal.

When he did, Aurora shook her head in disbelief at the fact that he dodged the entire Devenford Prep team while he just shrugged and smirked at her.

A ringing went off throughout the field meaning Malia managed to rig the news equipment. Aurora heard a soft growl that she recognized more than anything. She turned around just in time to see Liam running off of the field.

"Liam!" she called and went to run after him. She got to the end of the field where Stiles was and they watched Liam run towards the buses. "Liam! Wait!"

Aurora gasped when Liam jumped through the air and came face to face with the beast. Her hand came up to her mouth and her eyes widened as big as saucers.

People started screaming and running off the field looking for a safe place to hide. Aurora's heart dropped when the beast sliced Liam across the chest after he got some hits in. Without thinking she growled and ran towards the scene ignoring the calls from her brother.

"Rory!" Liam yelled as she ran towards him. She threw his arm over her shoulder while he grunted in pain.

The beast roared causing them to whirl their heads around to see it looking at them. It ran off making Aurora turn her attention to her boyfriend.

"Liam?" she looked at his blood soaked jersey in horror. "Stiles!"

Her brother rounded the corner and helped her carry the boy into the school. When they got inside, a crowd of people ran in front of them, cutting them off and starting a frenzy. Aurora tightened her grip on Liam and pulled them towards an empty classroom. They got inside, pushed everything off of the desk, and laid Liam on it.

He cried out in pain and gripped Aurora's hand.

Hayden burst into the room hearing the screams from down the hall. "What happened to him?"

"Liam?" Aurora got his attention and he looked at her, the blood on his neck making her heart beat quicken even more.

"I'm okay." he grunted. Stiles cut Liam's jersey so they could see the wound and Aurora's eyes glistened when she saw it. "What is it bad?"

"No." Hayden was quick to try and reassure him. Seeing Aurora's frightened expression she looked to Stiles for help. "Okay, what do you guys usually do when this happens?"

"Oh I usually pass out." Stiles said.

"And I'm usually the one almost dead." Aurora tried to joke.

"Okay, Scott did this with pain, he could trigger it. Pain makes you human." Stiles explained looking at the wound and his scared sister.

"He's already in pain." Aurora told him. Liam groaned in pain and rolled his head to the side, resting it on her arm. "Just hold on, it's gonna be okay."

"Right, but maybe adding a little more could help take away the pain." Stiles tried to explain.

"Take away his pain." Hayden mumbled under her breath and looked at the couple before her. Aurora had Liam's head to her chest while he panted from exhaustion and the extreme pain in his chest. She was trying to whisper reassuring things in his ear but he was losing too much blood.

"Rory." Hayden's voice made her turn around.

"Hm?" she hummed.

"Kiss him."

"What?" Aurora knit her brows together.

"Just do it!" she urged.

Aurora shook her head at the brunette but did as she was told anyways. She looked down at her love and connected their lips. Liam whimpered slightly but slowly melted into her touch.
