Alex's pov

"Just leave, I'll call you if I need you." I say getting off the car.

"How will..."

"Do as I say Andrew, that's what you get paid for. Just leave " I said angrily and Andrew drove of immediately

I had become so cold from the moment she left me. I just couldn't help it.
Nothing made any sense to me and I hated every single night that I slept alone and every single day that I woke up to an empty bed. My life was just like an empty street that was covered with total darkness.

I walked towards my wife's grave carrying a bunch of white roses, she loved white roses. It was exactly two months since the day she passed away but the pain was so fresh in my heart. It felt like it happened just yesterday.

I missed her so much, all the good and bad times we shared.

Times when I'd carry her on my back and run around the house with her while Daisy chased us. Times when we'd fight and shout at each other but end up making sweet love at night as a make up
Times when she would get emotional over a sad movie and I'd sooth her until she sleeps and later I'd carry her to our room.
Times when she'd hold mine and Daisy's hands as we say our good night/morning  prayer.

All those beautiful time's I spent with my angel, God, it really hurts so much. I bet loving someone too much comes with a heavy price that not even money can't pay.

I loved her with every ounce of me and I'll always love her forever..how can I not love her when she occupies the greatest part of my being. She runs through my head all the time and I can't seem to get rid of the memories of her sweet face every time she smiled at me.
She showed me what true love was and I fell for her so deeply.
She may not have been the most beautiful woman in the world but I didn't need to go searching for any because to me she was a definition of pure perfection.

I sat at the edge of my wife's grave and stared at her beautiful picture that was smiling at me and I couldn't help but smile back wishing that she was here with me.

I run my hands through the picture wiping off the dust admiring the beauty of the woman who had captured my heart from the first time I saw her. This was the picture that I had taken on our first date.
Tears flooded my eyes when I remembered that day.

She had shown up on our first date two hours late after she got involved in a motorbike accident on her way here which left her with a broken arm but after getting treatment from the hospital she left immediately and came here hoping they she'd still find me.
I couldn't have left because I was so positive that she'd come no matter how long it took. She wasn't the type to stood up someone. She was the yes or no type of a girl and I loved that about her.
Now she was here, looking so glorious with that dusty pink dress that had covered her curves so perfectly then ending up slightly at the top of her knee. It was an off shoulder and she had paired it with a pair of diamond earrings and a beautiful necklace.
She looked so beautiful in that dress and I made a mental note to buy her more of this ones she became my girlfriend, yes, I wanted her to myself and I was going to make her mine. I couldn't picture her with anyone else but me.

"Hey Alex" she'd said with a smile bit worried eyes "I'm sorry I kept you waiting for that long." She said standing a few meters from me

I walked to her and hugged her then held her hand that was covered with a bandage

"Betty, what happened to your arm?" I asked her as I examined it slowly

"Nothing serious. I was knocked by a motorbike and I ended up falling then this happened, but I'm okay " she said pointing to her left arm

"You're not okay, look at you hand. Betty we don't have to do this today okay? We can.."

"Relax will you? I am perfectly okay " she said laughing and pulled me to the table directing me to my sit then she took hers "can we order now,I'm really starving " she says lifting one of her brows and she looked so adorable.

"Yeah sure" I said as I signaled a waiter to come to our table.

"Stop looking at me like that,I'm seriously fine Alex" she smiles a little and I just took my phone out and took a picture of her hoping she'd not notice but the flashlight got her attention

"Did you just...?"

"Yes I did,and you look so beautiful" I said and a blush creeped on her face "especially when you blush" I added this smiling but she quickly snatched the phone from my hand causing me to frown.

"Please don't delete it"  did I just plea? Yeah..and I can do it again if I have to.I'd just do about anything when it comes to her

"I wont..but..on one condition" she said with a smile and a twinkle on her eyes. That smile, that smile was so beautiful and I wanted her to keep it all the time because it made her look even more beautiful.

I raised my brow encouraging her to talk, partly hoping the condition wouldn't be so hard on me, but as I  said, I'd do anything for her. Everything.

"You'll come with me this weekend for my friend's wedding "

I placed the roses on the grave as I pulled out my phone dialling Andrew's number.

"Hello boss" I heard him answer.

"Bring me two right now" I ended the call and sat right back on Betty's grave.

Betty's grave? Betty's grave?..It doesn't make any sense.
