Ms. Snob meets Mr. Intimidating

Chapter 12: He's here!

I really don't like short vacations but right now, I feel the opposite. Why? You knew it already.

My vacation was fun. Jace is always outdoors and so do I.

JM is a little bit persuasive when it comes to hanging out. My parents were so delighted to see him and dad also lets me go with him? Really? What's wrong with them? Well, I really don't mind at all.

He was so gentle with me even though sometimes I feel that he was restraining himself from doing something weird. Weird for example, he wants to go hiking all of a sudden while we were hanging out in the mall. I knew he wants some adventure but sorry I think I'll pass. I can be adventurous at times but this time, I'm in no mood because I just want to relax in my bed. I missed my bed because of the Spain vacation. My mind is clouded with too much what ifs.

What if I mess up again?

What if I fall in love with him then one of us fall out of love early? Can I stand another pain?

Our vacation passed by quickly and we're now ready for our second year.

KC and the rest of the gang are so early and decided to meet up in the school's park. They were so excited and joy is already painted in their faces.

"I never imagined that I'll be this ecstatic to attend school." KC is saying this while spinning around like crazy. We just laughed at her and when she stopped, she said, "Whatever!" while flipping her hair out.

"Good morning" JM hugged me behind. I turned around, met his gaze and smile.

We haven't seen each other for the rest of the vacation. He always have short calls but no video chats. Maybe he's just busy or something. His face became more intricate. Okay. I admit it, he's becoming more handsome in my eyes.

"Hi JM! missed me? uhm I mean did you miss Kate?" KC greeted JM with a wide grin.

"Hello there miss energetic! I missed you too but  I regret not seeing Kate for the rest of the vacation." He lowered his head and kissed the top of my head and stayed like that as if he's smelling my hair. Good thing I really washed my hair thoroughly this morning.

"Uh oh. Please, don't display your love here. This is the school's park. Not lover's park." JM just shrugged KC's comment. He just smiled and winked at her.

"Please spare me with your smexy eyes. Kate might get the wrong idea." KC laughed it off.

"No worries. I don't have the right yet." I told her. KC's eyes and mouth formed a big O.

 "Ow. Not yet. But there's a big possibility. I see." JM mouthed KC with thanks while I just rolled my eyes.

First subject: Math - Probability and Statistics

Isn't so exciting?

Ugh. Our professor started the lesson as he entered the room. Really? Our minds are still in the vacation mode and most of us are still in the adjustment period. The most weird thing is that he faced the board for two hours without glancing on us. Hello? Your students are here!

Anyway, we didn't have so much care about that. The subject is not that difficult yet so we just let it off.

As the bell rang for the next subject, every one of us hurried ourselves to get out.

"Boring isn't it? Joyce became gloomy right after the subject. KC pat Joyce's back to console her.

"I hope, the next one is not." KC told her.

The next subject is English. Oral Communication.

Our professor in English is the opposite of our Math. So energetic like KC's energy in the morning.

She introduced herself as Ms. Ana Prim, even though she's still a miss, she already have a kid. Her relationship with her kid's father was not a success. She shared her love story with us and told us that they were in love with each other that too much jealousy led to their break-up. Her husband was so possessive and demanding while she was a happy-go-lucky woman. Their opposite personalities clashed and eventually led to many disagreements.

I wonder, what if JM and I decided to make it official between us, what will be the problems that may arise?

We both like each other right now but is it enough to stay?

We have different personalities and its even the opposite. Ugh. I'm really so confused.

I let out a deep sigh. JM turned to my direction and asked if I'm alright. I just give him a nod and good thing that he didn't insist on asking me.

We were all in the middle of our fun introduction of ourselves. When it was already my turn. I was distracted by someone who opened the door.

"Excuse me ma'am. I am a transferee. I'm sorry for being late because I'm not yet familiar here." I knew that voice!  I instinctively turned around to see who is the owner of it.

I'm not prepared. I was so shocked. I don't know what to do.

"What is your name Mr. Transferee?" Ms. Ana asked him.

"Jared. Jared Lefebvre from Thompson University." He said while staring at me.
