After burying the potion, he waited for the electric storm and every night before bed with a wand in hand he chanted the transformation incantation. He always did it right before bed. Till the storm occurred.

I found a week into reading Draco researched what normally happens after the first transformation. When reading "magic that ain't for the faint of heart" he came upon a couple warnings for the first time transformations. The first was but if you didn't properly visualize your animals you might become a hybrid. The second warning you found was that if you can't visualize yourself turning back, you won't turn back. Draco was positive this wouldn't be a problem, figured he had a sharp enough memory. Reading a few more books and all newspaper articles he found that for the most part nothing went wrong. With just the smallest amount of doubt another week passed.

Snape Head turned down work for him so he could focus on his extra assignments. However, McGonagall gave him more work, insisting that it was important to have transformation down. While he had appreciated that she wanted him to succeed it was stressing him out.

One of the times he was stressing out he had walked right into a group of Ravenclaws. " I am so sorry" he apologized immediately. "Oi death eater, know your place," one says. "Yeah freak watch where you're going," another said. "It won't happen again I promise" Draco voiced. "Don't you move," said the leader as Draco tried to walk away. "We aren't done with you yet." Boys proceeded to kick him down to the ground and punch him and beat him mercilessly. One had kicked his rib so hard that Draco thought it might be broken. After getting bored the boys decided to leave and said "you should just die monster" and then left. Wednesday disappeared around the corner Draco began to sob quietly. He clutched his ribs where they had kicked him. I figured he deserved it, but he also felt what they were doing was 10 times worse than anything he had ever done. They had broken his ribs. All his life he has never ever been that violent.

He couldn't move. It hurt so bad, so he just laid there. He couldn't heal broken bones yet. So the stakes were stacked against him. However, he was able to scoot himself to the side of the hall. The minutes passed slowly, lunch would be over soon. And the flow of students would enter the currently empty hall. The bell rang, students from all houses moseyed into the hall. Most ignored the bloodied Slytherin at the side of the hall. Draco was sure he had some internal bleeding. He hoped Pansy would come along, but he wasn't sure if her next class was through the hall he was in.

The trickle of students started to slow. This month he might be stranded. It also showed him how heartless people are. Beginning to lose hope he closed his eyes. He heard footsteps of perch, maybe they'd help him. He opened his eyes and saw two pairs of shoes, but blacked out from internal blood loss and didn't see their faces.

When he came to, he was surrounded by white curtains. The people in the hall must  have rescued him. Looking around and then down at himself. He had bandages around his torso and arms. Sitting up caused him to wince. Definitely not completely healed. Madame Pomfrey was nowhere in sight. To be fair though that was only because he was currently incapable of drawing the curtains. "Madame Pomfrey," he called out. The clacking of shoes and the hasty drawing of the bed curtains revealed a frazzled Madame Pomfrey. "Oh thank goodness Draco, how quickly you'd recover," she cheered.

"How long have I been out?" He asked. " only about three hours," Draco breathed a sigh of relief. " that's good, if you don't mind me asking though, who brought me in?"

"Oh I believe it was Ronald Weasley and Harry Potter," she answered. Weasley and Potter. Well to be honest it makes sense. Potter's hero complex must've got the better of him. It wouldn't have been the first time.

I hope you enjoyed the chapter. I am really enjoying being creative but structured with this story. I am sorry I haven't posted in a while, school work has done a number on me. I am in a continuous recovery phase so please bare with me. I love you all! Have a good day!
