Draco had secretly been following them for the past little bit and it was heartwarming to see his friends worry about him. It would scare them just as much though if they had figured out that he had been there the whole time.

He had to get back to normal soon not wanting to worry his friends any further. He would have to get back to his room because that was where his instructions were to finish off the process. He had forgotten the last couple of steps over the weeks as he had been a cat. How is he gonna get into the Slytherin common room?

Harry was in Gryffindor and since he had sort of claimed ownership/companionship with his cat form, he had been staying in the Gryffindor tower. Not reminded, the tower was warm and comfortable. Maybe he could try to follow pansy or use his pouting skills to try and stay with her. It was definitely worth a try.

During Transfiguration, he hopped off of Harry's lap and went to Pansy jumping on her lap. Pansy tensed, surprised looking down at him, the tiny ball of white fluff. He meowed looking at her and then brushed his head against her willing her to fall for it. She did and smiled trying desperately to get back to work.

At the end of class, pansy carefully lifted him into one arm packing up the best she could with the other. Then she proceeded to walk over to Harry and tried to hand him over. Draco wasn't going to lose this chance and clung tightly to her clothes with his claws. She pulled on him delicately not wanting to hurt him or rip her clothes. Unsuccessful, Harry assured her it was alright for one night.

"You hear that storm; we get to have a sleepover" She smiled. He meowed in response, though he knew as soon as she was asleep it was off to his room to finish the process. He was ready for the assignment to be over, he wanted to talk with his friends and not be a watcher of their lives. Despite being around them, the entire time not being able to interact with them was incredibly lonely.

He still had to make it through dinner before he could even think about that though. It was his last dinner as a cat for a while. He wondered if he would still get weird fish cravings. He was worried about how Harry would react with Storm gone.

How would he bring up being an Animagus to his friends? How is he going to explain this whole 2 1/2 weeks to his friends? Questions flooded his mind, so many that he didn't even notice they were in the dining hall. The smell of really stinky-smelling gruyere woke him from his stupor.

Pansy put a plate of salmon in front of him which she happily gobbled up. Pansy ate her dinner chatting with one of the first years. Pansy had really branched out this year probably because Draco had been so distant. She had a friend in every house including Gryffindor where she had befriended the local smarty-pants Hermione Granger. How that friendship came about Draco wasn't entirely sure, but he did know she also befriended Harry after he stood up for Slytherin and helped her break into Ravenclaw tower. It was clear that they found a lot in common with each other.

This made Draco glad as he could see the rift between the houses start to heal. Once Pansy was done with what looked to be risotto, she picked him up and carried him with her to the Slytherin house. She brought him to her room and sat him down on a cushion, leaving to shower and change. She had picked purple silk pajamas and came out in them when she was done. She yawned and walked over giving him a kiss on the head good night before she got into bed and closed her eyes.
