The Alpha's Fighter

Chapter 1: The Beginning

-Marley's POV-

"Wake up. I'm bored." my best friend, Saige, said walking right through my door.

"Hey you. What if i was naked and you just busted in here like that?" I moaned and threw a pillow at her.

"Its not like i haven't seen anything. May i remind you that time when we were tubing at the lake and you lost both pieces of your swimsuit-" she started.

"Yeah yeah! You don't have to remind me." i interrupted her before she busted out laughing.

"And all the boys saw the mosquito bites too." she said in between laughs.

I buried my face into my pillow in embarrassment.

"i need my rest i have a fight today Saige."

"Hun its 2:00pm and your fight is at 2:30.Dyson sent me to get your ass up."

I groaned. I really hate getting out of bed, but i really love fighting. So, i did as i was told.

After i quickly got dressed and Saige left to get her seat in the arena the time read 2:25.

Shit.

I left my room and ran all the way down the hall to get there on time and i ran into John.

"There you are! You better hurry Marley." he encouraged.

John is the owner of the fighting arena. You are suppose to be 21 to fight and he allowed me to fight at age 16. Here i am now 2 years later and he allows me to stay in his spare room here, since my only family is Saige and Dyson.

I ran out to the clearing where i was to fight and then i saw Dyson.

"You are late!" Dyson said throwing his hands up.

"Sorry I got caught up."

Dyson was many things to me. Best friend. Boyfriend. Trainer. Hes helped me get to where i am in my fighting career and where i am today as a person

After I explained why i was late, he gave me a hug and a kiss.

"Be careful out there." he whispered.

I nodded in agreement and made my way into the ring.

I stood in my corner and my opponent sat in the other corner.

I could smell his Alpha blood.

"Ladies and Gentlemen! We have a good fight with Fury versus Steel!"

The crowd cheered and I got a few whistles from the boys.

Fury was my fighting name.

"Clean fight ok? Fighters you may shift now." The announcer ordered.

We both did as we were told. My fur was a metallic silver color with a purple hint in some light. My opponent was a dark brown coated wolf. He was slightly bigger than me since he was an alpha, but I can hold him off. His scent radiated a filthy dirt smell.

"Ready? set... Fight!"

We both circled around each other in the ring. He began to taunt me.

"So what's a little girl like you doing out here?" he spoke.

"Ready to kick your ass."

"Whoa. You don't look strong as they say or undefeated."

"How about you make your move and find out."

"Aw where's your mom. She needs to see her little angel get beat."

That word.

Mom.

Where was my mom? The last time I saw her has scarred me.

"Marley wake up! wake up!"

My sister, Blair, was shaking me awake. She was 12 and i was 9 at the time.

 I could smell the scent of burning wood and flesh outside.

"Blair what's going on? Where is mom?" i panicked

My mom ran into my room and kneeled down beside Blair and I. Her sweat sat above her brows and her breathing unsteady.

"Girls everything is going to be just fine. I need you to listen to me and do exactly what i saw when i say it." she began, but was interrupted by a loud banging on the door.

"Open the door now or we will invite ourselves in." a voice said outside our door.

A group of men laughed, and i bet they were drunk at the time.

"Girls over here," my mom beckoned, "climb out the window. Be quiet, but go quick."

We did as we were told. I heard a window shatter in our house that was now behind us.

As i looked around I now saw what was going on.

Our pack was being ambushed. Houses were being burned to the ground andpeople screaming. The smell of burning wood and flesh made sense now. That snapping sound i heard, was the sound of snapping necks. Knocking people dead out cold in one move. Just like how my dad died.

"Hey i see them back here!" a voice shouted. Now all attention was now on us.

"Run!" my mother ordered.

We all shifted into our wolves and made a break towards the woods. It seemed as if we escaped, but we were terribly wrong when we stopped to take a breather.

Growling was coming from the trees and out jumped a wolf that lunged for Blair. She was alert enough to get out the way. The wolf was four times our size, but it was only a  little bigger than my moms wolf.

The intruder made a swift bite at my moms back leg and succeeded. Her back leg was snapped in half. Blair and I were shivering in fear as the wolf turned away from my injured mother on the ground and made his way towards us.

"Alpha's orders was to destroy everything and everyone. Including the little ones." he taunted, and just as he came towards us with teeth and claws out my moms body flew right into his causing him to run fall on to the ground.

"Run now! And dont look back!" my mom ordered again.

I turned to run away with Blair, but she was nowhere to be in sight. I still did as i was told and i never stopped running until i ran into John who has helped me here today.

A few years later we found out who ambushed us. The New Moon pack.

I was hit back to reality when i felt a hard punch into my side.

"Marley pay attention!" Kai, my wolf, spoke inside.

The alpha was now hovering over my body, but i kicked my hind legs causing him to back up.

Kai and I had to work togther to get things done, and now that im alert we should be a threat.

I lunged onto his back bitting at his neck. Once i got a hold of it i didnt let go. The alpha tired to shake me off but my grip was unbreakable.

He soon found out he had to slam me onto the floor to get me off.

I then bit him again in the same spot. He whimpered. I scratched at his side while still in grip with his neck.

Before i knew it i had slightly snapped his neck, and he was paralized on the ring floor.

I was still undefeated.
