It was a normal day for JJ Maybank, Kiara Carrera, John Booker Routledge and Pope Hayward. They were the pogues.
It was a sunny day and the waves were great, so they took it as an opportunity to surf. Kie was sat with Pope on the beach and John B was walking to meet them with his girlfriend Sarah.
JJ was the only one in the water at the time, or so he thought until he seen a mysterious girl. He had never seen her on the island before so he asked her name. She told him she'd just moved here and her name was Kaia. Obviously, JJ checked her out, before going to see the others on the beach.
"Who was that J?" Kie asked. "I dunno some new girl called Kaia" said JJ. Instantly, Kie and John B locked eyes. Kaia was Kie's cousin and she had met John B when she was very young and came to stay at Kie's for summer.
Sarah blurted "am i missing something?" as Kie and John B ran towards Kaia who was sat on her surfboard in the water. "KAIA" Kie shouted.
Kaia turned her head to see her cousin and long lost friend. She raced towards them, engaging in a tight hug with both of them. Meanwhile, Pope, Sarah and JJ were just sat confused.
"ok so guys, this is my cousin, Kaia" Kie said excitedly. Sarah immediately stood up and give her a welcoming hug, Pope shot her a smile and JJ just looked at her.
Kaia's dad was insanely rich, meaning he was a full blown kook, but Kaia was a pogue as she was basically homeless. Kie knew she didn't want anyone knowing about her dad, so she kept quiet.
"Where's your house?" Pope questioned. Kaia laughed and said "Here i guess" looking down at the sand. John B realised she didn't have a home so invited her to stay at the chateau with him and JJ. JJ scoffed.
