Bittersweet Blood

Chapter 1: Shigami Academy

Hanako woke up in a cold sweat remembering having school in a couple of hours. It was only two in the morning for her.
"Jeez" Hanako said to herself looking at her clock on the side of her bed table "I forgot I start today." She looked up to the ceiling laying back down "I need to sleep"
Hanako started to shut her eyes before finally going back to sleep.
She had woken up. It was about 6:30am. She finally had gotten up she lived alone.

Why? You may ask well growing up her parents weren't fond of her or any kids but did treat her as a daughter but little did she know
Her parents were saving up for a place for Hanako when she got older.
Her parents just didn't want kids around as they found it really life draining, they still see Hanako rarely. Mostly on holidays is when she is over.

Hanako has her own money and own job as a maid in a cafe. But also her parents put some money aside for her while she grew up so she could take care of herself until she got a job.

Meanwhile Hanako headed to school by walking. Though she did have her own place due to her parents she didn't have a car or any sort so she walked besides the apartment was right by the school little less than 20 minutes

One she had gotten to school first thing she did was go to the counselors as she was a new student . Hanako grew up alone for the most part and maybe had one or two friends growing up but that's because her parents didn't really let her out and mainly kept her a secret from people they knew because they didn't wanna be known for having a kid because once again they were not fond of kids.

As quick as Hanako could she left having her schedule she walked past multiple students heading to her first class to look around while walking around she heard a faint scream and shot her eyes too a door that was by a classroom. It was the janitors closet.

She had walked towards it knocking before opening the door herself "hey? Are you okay? Is anyone in there?" She then opened it only to find a male smoking before he threw it on the floor crushing it with his foot "you need to mind your business." He soon just walked away hitting her with his shoulder while passing by

After  that encounter the bell rang she was a little creeped out but headed to class only to walk in and see the same male. Along with other males and some females. The group seemed to attract almost the whole class. Weird thing . They had the black&burgundy uniform on.

Hanako didn't really pay much kind to it as she just sat down by  the window looking out waiting for the teacher to start all she could hear were the students  falling for that group.  The teacher had walked in and began the lesson .

Hanako was a bright student she always asked questions but quiet when it came to her peers. As class ended she walked to her next. Then her next it was before lunch when she saw the group leaving campus. Not through the front but the back. The bell rang for the last periods of the day.

As class went by Hanako had headed home for the day "what a weird first day and I have no one to talk too about it". She had sighed only to see the two males outta the group behind her. She had seen them from the corner of her eyes and she continued to walk as they still were behind she grinned turning a corner opposite from where she lived she headed into town the two kept up. She had figured to find out if they were following her was to go a weird route.

She soon then stopped in a store behind a clothing rack "I'm sure I lost them. I wonder what they needed" she then thought to herself 'what if they weren't even following me in the first place "

"Aha" a male said behind her grabbing her hand . She was terrified not knowing who it was. It was a male in his 30s for sure "you are for sure coming back to my house for a fun time." He said pulling her out the store no one around noticed since it was crowded. He took her to a back alley where a car was "you are gonna make a fine piece of work." She had struggled to get away "let me go!"

The male kept pulling her till she closed her eyes after kicking his shin. The male screamed in pain and tried grabbing her again until after a few seconds a loud gush of something happened and silence .

She opened her eyes only to see the male on the floor and blood everywhere. She turned her body and face  to see another male with blood on his hands as he stared at her with his eyes glowing red

She couldn't believe her eyes . She backed up slowly . Her herself had the males blood on her . She screamed until someone covered her mouth and eyes .

Hanako woke up hours later in her own bed . Except she was changed into her pajamas  she sat up "must've been a dream right?"  She looked at the clock by her bed only to see it to be 11pm "that's all? I spent half my day doing what. Just school and what else?" She had gotten up to look out the window noticing that the uniform she wore today wasn't there but a fresh new one was folded neatly on a chair. "This is weird this is weird! I don't remember coming home and I live alone " She started to get upset a bit after seeing a pic of her parents and her

"why did they make me live alone at this age it's so scary and if I told them a thing they wouldn't care" she grabbed the pic and put it face down getting into bed she just decided to sleep

The next day at school Hanako was being cautious due to the day before until she stumbled upon the group and the male she saw when she was in school yesterday and the two who followed her . She didn't really recognize the male who killed the other so she thought it was a dream.
