Chapter 11: The Woman Before Her

It was late. Hanako was still up thinking about Kiyo she never had feelings she never felt this way she rolled around in her bed until Haru walked in "figured you were awake princess " he closed the door and walked over and sat on her bed

Hanako blinked twice "I didn't realize you were up hello" she sat up quickly
He laughed "vampires rarely sleep at night"
She nodded then stopped "hey I just remembered why was Rui upset?"
He forgot then smiled "I forgot about that well I am your secret donor"
"Well apparently Rui said you told him all about your past and didn't give him the reaction I'm guessing he got jealous like a little kid seems like it but honestly the way he is and stuff , I can't blame him"

She nodded and sighed " I didn't realize that would upset him I always assumed he didn't care and just wanted the necklace"

"I mean- he does but still he has some feelings I guess it's just apart of how his child hood went I wouldn't worry too much about him"
"Hey Haru. When you first met me you were aggressive but after Rui disciplined you that movement . You been open and honest with me. So nice to me and all I find it a little weird no offense I'm just wondering" he put a hand on her shoulder "I changed, that's all besides you didn't do any wrong to me I shouldn't have came off like that and Rui was right to discipline me"

"I suppose hey also is he that upset or ..."
He shrugged to her "I'm not sure I'll update you get some rest princess ." He got up leaving and closing the door she stood up and looked at the window, next to it was a stained glass with a woman in a dress she looked at it "so beautiful.." she touched it as the glass was warm but outside it was windy she quickly moved her hand "that's weird ." She said looking straight at it as it started to glow in a white fire type look she quickly rushed back "its fire it's burning help-" she almost yelled

a woman appeared which who was in the stained glass she quickly got to Hanako and covered her mouth "my sweet please do not snitch or say a word" Hanako looked at her as much as she could as the woman was behind her covering her mouth "You are as beautiful as I would have guessed. Hello Hanako"

Hanako was more than confused she felt the woman's hand and body heat but she saw her in the stained glass.
The woman smiled "promise not to scream please." She said slowly letting go as Hanako quickly ran to her bed and hiding behind it "don't kill me I have enough on my plate -"

"Please Miss Hanako I'm not here to harm you I'm here to inform you of your purpose. Sure you think this manor and these people are evil. But listen to me, they aren't harmful." She walked over as her dress dragged "I'm dead Hanako. I'm just like you a human." She bent down to her level "I was the owner of this manor. I am not the mother of them but the owner. As you know of the King Vampire. Who has passed on. Well I took in the vampires and gave them my blood in order to help them before He came along."
Hanako stood up slowly "are you Ruis mom? What happened ?"

The woman shook her head "Like I said I am not the mother, His mother has passed and his father due to the king. And so was I. I took care of them like normal people I'm sure they haven't told you that. The king made them make me look bad when he killed me they despised me. The only one who mourned me was Rui."

"The king told them humans are worthless. Weak mere humans. Who don't deserve a life. "

"May I asked why was his parents killed if they were vampires I understand you were a human but them. "
The lady nodded "sweetie just promise not to mention any of this okay."
Hanako nodded
"His parents were powerful pure bloods with good intentions they accepted everyone as they hid their secret but as you heard before. Rui wasn't accepted by kids around him everyone thought he was off."
She sighed "one day or well one night the king appeared at their door let's call him by his real name. Tegui, and told them what he knew he promised them a better life for Rui and they had to come they understood and agreed for Ruis sake. Turns out Tegui wanted Rui to himself and his power. He was so hard on him even abused him to be stronger and even rude. This is where I come in. I ran this manor with vampires he showed up, made a fake front and killed me , underneath this manor is  a grave yard but they don't know that. Anyways. That's where he took his parents to murder them. How do I know all this? I might be dead but I still live here as a spirit."

Hanako nodded "wait but how did you run a manor with vampires? I understood you gave  them blood"

"I studied this stuff. I was so interested I wanted to see if vampires were real and they were from finding out till years after I took care of everyone here . Sure they forgot or hate me because of him but it's okay."

Hanako nodded "excuse me if this is rude but I slept here before why didn't you do this?"
The woman laughed "you are alone . And awake and I needed to speak to you My Princess"
Hanako blinked "why does everyone keep-"
The woman cut her off "excuse me for my rudeness I forgot. I'm Lady Himexa. Anyways they won't say anything and I shouldn't but. If the king is awoken with that necklace and you are awakened by then and somehow don't pass due to death. You will have a coronation and become the princess. Same goes with evil. Anyone who has that necklace controls you.
Himexa would put her hands together and form a crystal "this is power. Hide it and use it if needed " she said as she put the crystal in her hand and lightly placed it by Hanakos heart before it went inside her body
