Chapter 5: Secrets

After meeting everyone she was alone in the guest room "the least he could do is tell me why I'm here" she said as she was sitting up on a bed looking out the window

She then remembered the male from earlier "right" she slightly touched her neck "I'm not dead... no one took my necklace" she soon laid down as the door opened
Mina walked in with a glass of water and soup "I take it your date was the only time you ate"

Hanako nodded. She didn't wanna be rude they basically protected her, "yea... hey how did I get here I mean why am I here" she said softly

Mina sat next to her "I'll probably be the only one to explain things thoroughly besides Rui. He's busy " she put a hand on hanakos hand "there's a very dark world here . You see us vampires. You think of fairy tales and nightmares but we are real. It's not just us there are demons in this world and gouls you name it. What you encountered earlier was a Demon not  just any but Kenzo he's the heir of the demons he's not a big threat but, he has the power to get what he wants. Us vampires we aren't the only ones after the power . They are too and you possess it."

Hanako nodded and held the necklace "it's just a necklace I don't know what's going on I've never experienced this."

Mina nodded "you came to a different place you are in danger . But if you stayed where you were , the danger woulda just came to you, I see the necklace wasn't explained so. Your necklace goes back almost to the beginning of this world, It has passed from female to male,of each generation, the one who created it was the almighty god shevein. Powerful leader of the dark and light. We are at a war a fight as our leader had passed it's weird. But Hanako YOU were the chosen one. If one of us have the necklace it could grant us the best power . Revive the king we don't want peace we want the leader back. But if a human holds it. It's hard to take."

Hanako fell asleep to the story as the soup was half aten and the water drank

Mina got up as Rui walked in "or you coulda just made it shorter and said don't worry about it give it to us" Mina had shrugged "our kind hates humans Rui why are we helping her?"
Rui glared "are you stupid. She has the necklace she's the only one who can give it to us. Be smarter about this stuff please. I know what I'm doing "

The next morning it was the last day of the weekend . Hanako woke up as she looked around "right." She stood up and looked at the window before placing a hand on it
"pathetic ."
Haru walked in "this generation they gave it to you "
She turned around "excuse me?" The male laughed "why would they give a lonesome human a powerful item and them not know about it. You are asking for a death wish " he said before walking towards her

Hanako backed up slightly against the window "I didn't ask for this. I'm clueless"
The male got 10 inches away from her "exactly why don't you just give it to us."
"Can you just leave me alone I got enough from Rui and Mina" Haru smirked and walked closer before pinning her agains the window "I'm escorting you home princess"
He stared into her eyes smirking "you can't escape us."
Hanako stared back with a mad expression before attempting to push him away as he grabbed her hands "don't you dar-"

"I said escort her don't harm her Haru."
It was Rui he walked over before hitting Haru
Hanako watched "abusive." Rui looked at her and shook his head "if Haru won't take you home I will."

Haru shook his head "let me take her I'm sorry." He said as he rubbed his face walking out the room
Rui glanced at her "follow him."
Hanako nodded as she started to follow

"Also. Don't go out at night or you are asking for a death wish cause not everyone will be around to save you and some day that power won't work on you."
Hanako rolled her eyes following Haru

Haru had opened the door to a black car "get in"
Hanako looked at it, the car looked rich, tinted windows and black color. Typical car from a vampire movie

She got in and Haru got in
"You drive . I mean a vampire drives ?"
He nodded "typically teleporting is a choice but this is necessary for school and stuff. Anyways we got off wrong I'm Haru princess."
Hanako nodded "now you wanna be nice to me? Was it because he hit you?"

Haru ignored the last part and continued to drive "I'm being nice because if he's gonna be nice and protect you. I have to."
She nodded "I suppose."
"Well he's never really kept a human alive but-" he shook his head

Hanako glanced at him "he told me he said he doesn't know why they want me alive I know I'm not one to speak on this but who?"
Haru stopped the car at a red light "them . The gods not even the gods but the king of us wants you to live. If you die with the necklace and it's tainted with your blood it sticks with you in the grave and will never come off. He said that of course before he passed away."
She nodded "how did he die . Did he know me?"

"I'm sure he knew who was gonna hold the power. But his last words were She who holds the necklace must live to retrieve the necklace must not be tainted with the pure human blood"

She nodded "so about Rui I been thinking. He seems so honest and ."

"Bossy . I know he's always been like that his parents were killed the only reason he wants the necklace is for himself. He doesn't wanna save the king he wants him to be revived and killed by himself. But I only know that no one else there knows. He hasn't lied to you for some reason. And he's lied to us for years aside from finally telling me the truth recently"

"May I ask why does Rui wanna kill him?" She said as she looked toward the window of the car
"The king killed his parents after bringing them in from the human world and claimed him afterwards and abused him to make him the second king. But that didn't work he didn't want that he just wanted to be loved and have company and comfort after his parents death he wanted to be able to trust another soul after what the king did. Well of course that soul was me but still. He still barely trusts. He seems so hard but under that shell he's so soft. Other than him having the power aside from killing the king he wants to kill the demons and such even humans. Anything he can do to fill the bleeding hole from inside him"

Hanakos expression looked sad listening to it. She didn't expect to feel bad for a vampire a supernatural being. Someone so evil having bad intentions with the necklace
"Hey " he stopped the car in front of her complex "don't mention any of this to him or the rest. Not even to anyone" she unbuckled the seat belt and opened the door "you have my word haru." He slightly smiled before having A red blush "thank you princess"

Hanako walked inside her complex to her apartment "He was so cruel at first but. Rui made him change so quick and he did. Haru told me the truth about everything . How weird"
