Saturday morning was here, and I was a bit nervous about going to senior home coming as Ryan's date. I bet a lot of girls would look at me with envious eyes, and I was definitely not going to like that at all. When Ryan asked me to be his date, I was shocked and hesitant at first, but then he explained to me that he wouldn't go if I wasn't his date. It was his last year, and he couldn't miss this event, so I had to agree, and now I was waiting for Laura to come so that we could go to the salon. She insisted that we should have to get our hair and manicures done because we would be with popular guys. This homecoming was extra; it meant we had todress up in long dresses just like a real prom, looking all gorgeous coming with their handsome partner in tuxedos. Homecoming was more like a prom, but it was more grown-up. It consisted of games and the coronation of the king and queen of the night, as well as dance. It was basically for seniors only, but Ryan invited me, so I had to go. And also, I won't be alone because Laura will be there along with Daniel. Laura and I went shopping on Thursday, and when I told her that Ryan asked me to be his date, she was squealing in excitement, as earlier she was tensed to go alone and had to be face-to-face with Ruby. And now she was relieved and so excited. Laura came, and we went to the salon. Then we headed to lunch, and then we came back, and Laura came with me along with her dress and everything else as we were going to get ready together.
It was about time that our dates would come to pick us up, so we decided to start getting ready. Both of our hair was curled, and I had a smokey black eyeshadow and red lip, whereas Laura had a nude eyeshadow and pink lipstick. I was dressed in a two-piece black dress with the top made with lace and long sleeves as well (picture below), and Laura was dressed in a long blush-colored dress with thigh-high splits and beading all around the dress. I paired mine with black stilettoes, and Laura paired hers with a nude one. Just as we were about to take our clutches, we heard the bell ring. Laura excitedly went to get the door, and I took my time to go down.

The door opened to the two popular guys of the college, looking all handsome in their respective tuxedos. Ryan wore a red tux, and Daniel was in a gray one. They were clearly checking us out, and we both girls were doing the same. Seeing the intense staring going around, I cleared my throat, making them snap out of the daze.
"Shall we go?" I asked, looking at Ryan, and Daniel came forward and took Laura's hand, putting on a baby pink corsage, and then they headed out, arm-laced with each other. I smiled at them as they were all looking cute together. Ryan was looking at me and I raised one of my eyebrow at him, He came forward and said,
"You're looking gorgeous!" he said as a small blush appeared on his cheek. I smiled at him and thanked him.
"You're looking all killer as well!" I complimented him, and he smiled sheepishly.
