*SARAH'S POV*

The next day, I woke up earlier than usual to work on some of the designs for the Collins's anniversary party before I headed to that luxurious banquet that Mrs. Collins sent me the address of. When I gathered all the information and ideas, I went to get dressed. I wore a baby blue dress with white pumps and tied my hair in a high ponytail. No makeup, as I knew it was going to be a tiring day. I got ready and decided to go to the office first to have a meeting with all my team for this event and explain everything to them. So, I called Cindy to arrange a meeting with everyone as I was driving to my office.

I arrived there, went directly to the meeting room, and greeted everyone. My dad urged me to have an office; it was not a big one at the start, but now, after much success, we were able to renovate it, and now it is not that big but a normal size where all my workers have a place for themselves. So, I explained everything to them in detail and told them where it was going to take place and at what time they should be there to start everything. After that, I left for the banquet hall along with my planners and designers to see where and what could be placed. We arrived there, and when I entered, I saw Ryan sitting on a chair in the middle of the hall, looking around patiently.

"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at your work?" I asked once I was at the door, looking at him. He snapped his head in my direction, and a huge smile immediately appeared on his lips.  'God, I love his smile!'

"Good morning, babybear. Have you forgotten already? Mom said that I would be supervising everything, so mom and dad told me to be here in case you need something."  he said, coming closer to me.

"That won't be needed, Ryan. I'll handle everything. You can go to your office." I said, as I didn't want him to put his work on hold.

"I can't take any risks for that. I want everything to be perfect, so I can't go," he said in a command voice and smirked at me.  I narrowed my eyes at him and then rolled my eyes, starting my work.

I was planning everything with my co-workers and discussing ideas that would suit Sophia's preferences. All the while, Ryan was walking around, or even remained behind me whenever I would go. I was starting to get irritated as he kept distracting me with his presence behind me every time. When I would glare at him, he would go the other way to help and interact with the workers, and he even told one of them that he loved me. I swore, I almost hit him in the head, but deep down, I was feeling happy that he was around. The girls on my team were flirting with him, but he would back off or tell them that he was taken. When I heard him say this to a girl, I was impressed and had a dance in my mind.

' Gosh, this guy is really doing everything he can to make me fall in love with him.'

*RYAN'S POV*

I was waiting for Sarah to come to the banquet hall, as mom told me to assist her. After what happened yesterday, my mom became really happy when I confessed that I loved Sarah. It seemed like she already liked Sarah before she knew about us. So, she insisted that I tell her everything—how it started and all—and I did tell her. And now she told me to make up for the time lost with her and that she would love her as her daughter-in-law. I couldn't help but blush at her words. And dad also seemed to like her a lot, as she really was self-disciplined and motivated for her career; that only explained her personality, which impressed my dad in our very first meeting. Now that I knew what my parents thought about her, I was more determined to make her mine. No matter what, I would make her fall for me again and make her mine. I was talking to my dad in his office at home last night about work and the planning of other projects. The success rate of Collins LTD kept on increasing in every country, and the work was being done effectively. Dad was feeling really proud, and we kept on talking about how to improve everything, but there was a file on his desk that I was really tempted to take a look at. When dad told me he was going to bed now, I took the opportunity to take the file and went to my room. I opened it quickly, as it was concerning to Sarah and her company. Actually, before dad would engage with anyone or any company, he would look out for all the information, whether it was worth it or not. And he did the same with Sarah's before he chose her for the planning of their anniversary. I was so curious to know about Sarah's company and how she got there. I knew she was always very dedicated to her work, but how she had chosen to be an event planner was still unanswered to me. I was impressed by all the information I found. I searched on the internet for the 'A La Mode' company, and it had almost all the positive reviews. I was sure she was the best at what she was doing.

And today, seeing her work with her team with such focus and dedication, I was really impressed. Even I didn't work with such concentration. I was trying to distract her and grabbed her attention, but she would glare at me with those beautiful brown orbs of hers, and you knew that her eyes were my most favorite feature of her, but they also affected me the most as well.

"Someone seems lost in here." I was jerked from my thoughts by her only and she came sitting next to me. I looked at her and smirked as she said the same exact words I said to her years ago when she first came to my condo for a party.

"You still remember?" I asked her with the same smirk, and she averted her eyes and looked ahead of her.

"I still remember everything between us, Ryan. I always cherish every moment of happiness in my life," she said, still looking ahead of her, and just then, a worker called out for her.
"And you always make me happy!" she said the last part, looking at me and blushed slightly before she stood up and walked to that worker. I had a huge smile on my face, and I then knew that I still had that chance to win her and make her mine. I stood up from my seat and went behind her. I hugged her tightly against my chest and whispered, I love you, to her. Her employees were not around; maybe she asked them to have lunch, and now I could have her for myself for some time. I closed my eyes and nuzzled my head in her hair. I found myself relaxing, and what made it the best was when she wrapped her arms around my arms and leaned backward against my shoulder. We stayed like that for a while, getting lost in each other. I could feel us forming a deep emotional connection, and I was so happy for that.
