Tobias awoke to Esmeray's warm naked body pressed up against his. A wave of shock ran over him as he stared down at her sleep-softened face. It took him a moment to remember what happened that night. Heat instantly raged across his cheeks and ears. He'd given his virginity to Esmeray but he had absolutely no regrets. He held back a chuckle as he watched her breath. Well, maybe one. If he could change anything, it would be that he hadn't been so tipsy and knew exactly how to please her body. He smiled softly and let out a gentle breath. It didn't matter now and in all honesty he didn't care. He was just glad to have this beautiful angel of a woman in his life and currently in his arms. He softly stroked her cheek with his thumb before leaning down and kissing her gently. "Wake up beautiful."
Esmeray's lashes flickered for a moment before she blinked and opened those gorgeous green eyes Tobias adored so much. Slowly a smile spread across her lips and she giggled softly, nuzzling his nose with hers. "Good morning, love."
"Mmm sleep well?" He asked as he quickly gave her a soft smooch. He continued to slowly caress her cheek and look into her eyes with a small sigh.
She nodded and smiled agaisnt his lips before he pulled back. Every few seconds she felt their lips brush against each other and she blinked slowly. "Mmhmm. You?"
"How could I not with this stunning angel in bed with me?" He asked playfully, gently tickling her sides with a chuckle.
She squealed with laughter and squirmed, giggling as she fought to get out of his arms and away from his tickles. "Toby! Stoooppppppp."
"I love you," he stated softly as he gave her one more tickle before stopping. He hugged her close and smiled softly.
"I love you too." She blinked and returned the smile, enjoying his warmth and their closeness. "So what's the plan for today?"
"We're gonna head down to Arkansas and stay at this garage apartment. Its a small town so I'm sure it'll be perfect to hide at until we figure out our next move," he replied with a stretch, his body pressing even more against hers. He took a deep breath and tucked some of her brownish black hair behind her ear. "Pietro and Cora will join us in a few days. We'll have to get a new ride though 'cause we're leaving mine here."
"Oh?" Her eyebrow raised slightly while she gazed at him and breathes softly. "What are we gonna do with it then?"
"I'mma contact and associate of mine who lives near here and have him take it somewhere near where we'll be heading. We'll pick it up when we get there," he answered and propped up on his elbow. He covered his mouth and yawned softly. "So we'll have to steal a car."
She smiled and laughed as she ran her fingers though his hair. "Then let's get started!"
It took them only a few minutes to get dressed and check out of the hotel. Before long they were scanning the area for the best candidate for their auto theft.
"See that guy right there?" Tobias asked, motioning toward the guy leaning against a cherry red Pontiac GTO in the mostly empty parking lot across the street. "Wanna still his car while I call my friend? Should be an easy hit and I'll be right there as soon as I call."
"Piece of cake," Esmeray stated with a small smirk tugging on her lips. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she observed the man read a newspaper. She began to walk forward and across the silent road, loving how oblivious her target was to the impending act. She stepped up behind him and tapped him on the shoulder. "Nice car you have there, sir."
He put his paper down and turned to see the person behind the sweet tone. He smiled and glanced over Esmeray before he looked into her emerald eyes. "Why thank you, gorgeous."
"You're welcome," she answered with a soft giggle and a wink. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and smiled at him. "You look nice yourself if I may say."
"Oh, but not as fine as you, doll." He boldly reached out and snaked his arm around her waist. He pulled her close and looked down at her. "How about I take you back to my place?"
She wrapped her arms around his lower back and gave a playful smile. She knew the keys to the car were in his back pocket, she'd seen them already. Now if she could only get them. "Hmmm now why should I do that?"
He leaned down and kissed her neck, smirking against her skin as his grip on her tightened. He teased her neck, not knowing his keys has just been slipped from his pocket. He chuckled when she titled her head. "This is why. I could give you give you the ride of your life."
"And if I decline your invitation?" She teased as she held the keys tightly in her hand. She bit her lip, wondering how on earth she was gonna get out of this.
He laughed a little and straightened up to smile at her. "Because I'm a gang leader. I always get what I want, and I want you."
Esmeray felt a child run up her back. There was just something about that smile that unnerved her. She felt a sense of danger and wished she could reach the gun strapped to her thigh, but she couldn't. She let go of him and took a step back. She crossed her arms and smiled with a slight shake of her head. "I'm sorry, love, but I don't play around like that no matter who you are."
"There's nothing to be sorry for because you're coming with me. Like it or not," he informed as her grabbed her by the arm and pulled her around his car. He opened the door and shoved her inside before shutting the door.
Esmeray breathed and watched as he walked back around. She could get out and run, but what she wanted meant she had to stay put. She but her lip, sliding her gun from its holster on her right thigh and hiding it as the driver's side door opened and the guy stepped in.
"I'm Antonio, by the way," he said as he settled into the seat and started the car.
"Well, Antonio, go to hell," she stated, aiming her pistol at his chest and pulling the trigger. She flinched when Antonio froze with shock and reached up to grab his bleeding chest. She stared at him in disbelief. Sure she'd killed someone yesterday, but her mind had been fuzzed with moonshine. This time she was all too aware of everything. Her gun fell to her lap and she trembled as emotions rushed over her senses.
"Baby, are you okay?" Tobias asked, opening the passenger door. He'd seen what had taken place and rushed to help but not before he heard the gunshot. He pulled Antonio's body from the car and hopped in, throwing the car in drive and speeding onto the highway. He flipped off the person behind him when they honked at him and he punched the gas even more.
"I'm fine," Esmeray answered softly. She returned the pistol to its rightful place and looked forward at the road. A silent tear slipped down her face. Never in a million years would she had seen herself as the murdering outlaw she was today. She glanced over at Tobias for a moment. But what she had become, she had become for him and there was no turning back.
