Eric and Tris

Chapter 12

I stared up, it was 2am and I couldn't sleep. My head was spinning. Marlene was pregnant. Eric and I had almost kissed twice and four's life was about to implode. Everything was so complicated.
-9am-
I was standing in Max's office, Eric and Four were on either side of me.
"You've done well this year. You should all be very proud of yourselves." He smiles at us. I nod and gave him a smile. The scores were out tonight. I could finally go back to tattooing full time again.

I looked over at Eric, he looked down at me. "You're all dismissed, I'll see you all tonight for the results and celebration." Max says. Eric looked away, nodded at Max and left. Four and I followed. I walked down to the canteen. I saw Christina sitting with Marlene and Zeke. I walked over. We ate and I left. I didn't want to be near Marlene today.

I got back to the apartment. Eric was sitting on the sofa with paper work around him. "Hey." I say quietly. He looked up and smiled. "Hey." I walked over and sat on the sofa arm. "Can we talk about last night. Please. I know you're busy and you don't want to talk about it but we need to. Please Eric." He stared at me, then moved the papers for me to sit next to him. "I'm sorry I've been so distant tris. I just I don't want to complicate things." I looked down. "Eric, I- I really want to stay. I don't want to leave." I like you Eric, I'm really falling for you. He looked at me. Lifting my head with his finger. "I don't want you to leave either tris. I want you and that baby to stay. I will move with you. Just say the word." I stared at him. "Eric no, we aren't together that would be wrong." I shot out. He looked away. "Tris I want to be with you. I like you. All I've wanted to do is kiss you. You have no idea how much I want to kiss you." He looked up cupping his hands around my face. "I like you tris, I may even be falling in love with you. Just give me a chance." He leaned in closing his eyes, I closed my eyes. Our lips finally touched and we kissed. We finally kissed . It felt like we were on another world. He grabbed the back of my head pulling me in closer. I slowly pulled away. He pulled away smiling at me. "We need to do that more often," I said smiling. "Yeah I agree." I giggled.

After hanging out with Eric for a little longer I went and got ready for the results. I showered, dried my hair and put some make up on. I then put on a body con dress and black boots. After getting ready I went back into the livingroom to Eric wearing black jeans, a skin tight v neck T-shirt black obviously and black docs. "Wow tris, you look stunning." I looked down blushing. "You don't look so bad yourself." He walks over to me and wraps his arms around my waist. "I want to kiss you again." I looked up and smiled. "Later, we have to go." I leaned up peaking his cheek, removing myself from his arms. I grabbed my bag and keys.

We walked out the door and made our way to the canteen. Max, Eric, Four and I stood on the balcony. I stared at all the dauntless, everyone was buzzing for the results. I looked over at Christina and Will. Christina smiled down at him. I then looked over at Eric, I wanted to reach for his hand but this wasn't the right time. Max finished his speech and the results were shown.
