Eric and Tris

Chapter 6

They stood apart from each other, the stiff looked terrified. Becca however was ready for a fight. Even though she's small she was fast and fast helps you win. The stiff straightened up and stared at his fist.

I looked over at Eric and smirk a little, he was smiling at them staring each other.
"Fight!" He yelled obviously getting bored of them just standing there, to be honest so was I.

At least my first fight was quick and easy (I lost but you learn) The stiff threw a punch, barely grazing Becca. She lunged forward and nailed a punch straight to the stiffs jaw knocking him out instantly. I clapped impressed with her, she wasn't bad for a candor.

The fights went on for a few hours and finally it was time to eat, I was in the mood for dauntless cake. I walked to the canteen where Eric and Four were sitting at a table, Four had a frown on his face while Eric sat there straight faced. I couldn't blame four for being made after he found out I was staying with Eric indefinitely. But it wasn't my fault Four did cheat on me!

I tried to walk fast to avoid them seeing me but it's me, of course the saw me!
"Tris!" Four shouted trying to get my attention, my face wrinkled up. I turned around, "are you coming back to me?" I rolled my eyes, "Eric, I'm going back to the apartment. See you there." I heard Four sigh heavy like he was huffing. I continued walking away.

He was walking closer to me, the gun was pointing at my now big stomach, "please, don't shoot me Tobias. This is your baby too." He had rage in his eyes. It was like he was in a simulation. It's like he couldn't see me.
"If I can't have him then no one can!" Then bang!

I shoot up, I started to cry because that's all I could do. I see Eric raise from the sofa, he looked concerned. "You okay?" I nodded. "Bad dream..." I was visibly shaking. He stood up and came and sat on the edge of the bed and put his arms around me giving me a bear hug. This was a new side to Eric that I am glad only I got to see. "I'm sorry for waking you." He shook his head. "Don't be silly," He hugs me again. "Can you stay here until I go back to sleep?" I said, I felt like a little kid who had crawled into there parents bed. "Yeah of course." He put his arm around me, I felt secure, he was like my safety blanket. I fell back to sleep.

"Hurry up you fucktards!" I shouted to group as they jogged behind me. Eric is jogging alongside me. He looks over at me and smiled then sped off ahead of me daring me to race him.
"Come on guys keep up!" I shouted at the kids behind me. I sped up catching up with Eric giving him my biggest smirk ever.
"You got to be kidding if you think I can't keep up! I was first in my class or did you forget that." He laughed.

We got back to the dauntless base. They all headed back to there sleeping quarters and Eric and I headed back to our apartment.

"Umm I'm gonna go lie down, I have to be at the tattoo parlour in 2 hours."
He smiles and walks to the kitchen while I went to the bedroom.
"Eric,"
"Yeah?"
"Thank you." I smiles at him and went to be.
