Justin’s Point of View
As soon as I woke up a smile appeared on my face.
Things may have got a little … carried away … yeah let’s go with that … last night and I ended up ‘sleeping over’ at the centre with Molly. You know for a place that’s meant to have her on suicide watch they don’t check on her much.
Anyway. None of that matters now, you know why? Because I’ve got Molly back, lying in my arms, breathing and I’m pretty sure she doesn’t want to kill me. I brushed a piece of hair out of her face and kissed her forehead. Se wrinkled her nose a little then turned to face away from me. I laughed and got up to go to the toilet, careful not to wake her.
I washed my hands and turned the handle on the door. I walked out and got the fright of my life as I saw a member of staff at the door.
‘aaah!’ I shouted at the same time he did. Luckily I was wearing sweatpants that could have been awkward. Molly jumped up at my screaming wearing just my t shirt.
‘what the hell?’ she groaned rubbing her eyes. They shot open as she realised the member of staff looking at us.
‘uh hi’ she smiled. The guy looked at her, then at me, then at her, then back at me again. He then looked at us with a ‘oh I know what you two have been up to’ look. Molly and I looked at each other then back at him.
‘this looks bad’ Molly laughed nervously. ‘but it’s not what you think’
‘yeah! I laughed nervously as well. ‘we didn’t …’ we totally did. ‘we would never’ we would, multiple times. I just settled for another nervous laugh.
He raised both of his eyebrows at us then his eyes wandered to Molly. I watched as his eyes lingered at her face before slowly making their way down her bare legs. I mean the t shirt wasn’t exactly long on her.
I stepped over to her and pulled the t shirt down, holding it so it wouldn’t ride back up again. ‘can we help you?’ I asked sternly.
‘well yeah, you aren’t meant to be here and Molly, you have a meeting with your counsellor.’ he said as he leaned against the doorway. Was he checking her out again?!
I cleared my throat. ‘oh yeah so I wont tell the that you’re here because quite frankly I hate this job’ he said as he pointed to me. ‘and you have to get changed, you have a meeting with your counsellor’ he pointed at Molly.
‘ugh’ Molly groaned. ‘okay fine, I’ll just get changed’ she nodded but the guy didn’t move.
‘aloneee’ she dragged out her words hoping for him to get the hint. Still he stood there.
‘get out!’ I shouted making the guy jump. He shut the door behind him as he ran out of the room. Molly just laughed as she grabbed some clothes and got changed, throwing me my t shirt.
‘I’m just gonna pop home to get changed, but I’ll be back’ I smiled at her as I walked over and kissed her lips.
‘okay, bring a dvd or something, it’s boring here’ she laughed softly. I nodded and climbed out of the window, slid down and waved at her before heading to my car.
I was still smiling. People must have thought I belonged in the centre rather than out of it by the way I was strolling along, grinning widely. I looked like something out of a Disney movie.
I hopped into the car and drove back to our place. I was only planning on staying long enough to shower and get changed. I put my key in the door and pushed it to open it, as I did I heard something bang against it. I shut the door and looked down to see a package lying there addressed to Molly and me. I took it through to the kitchen and opened it.
