Chapter Forty-One

‘aaaaaaaaaw!’ Justin put me down and we turned to see Cal with his hands up to his chest. ‘I kneeeew it! Didn’t I tell you Molly, didn’t I tell you!’ he ran over and picked us both us hugging us.

‘well this is weird’ Justin mumbled while Cal held us.

‘oh hush Bieber, don’t act lie you don’t like it!’ Cal laughed putting us down. ‘now, once again, I’m going to need to be insensitive. Molly, Mindy just called, your flight is in like an hour and a half. But you still have to pack, get there and take your medication.’ he genuinely looked sorry.

‘seriously?! I just patch up my marriage with a cliché yet wonderfully heart warming apology and I have to go?!’ I whined.

‘fraid so kiddo’ he shrugged.

‘wait, I’m pretty sure I’ve not got any plans for tonight, my flight is tomorrow but I could get it changed?’ Justin smiled pulling me closer to him and kissing my cheek.

‘what were you going to do tonight it’s only like half 9’ I laughed.

‘sit and cry over you, what do you think I was going to do?!’ Justin laughed. ‘I was going to sleep obviously’.

‘okay well Molly, I’ll take you back to the hotel and you can get your shit together, while I call Mindy and get Justin on the flight. And then we’ll come back and get Justin on the way to the airport?’ Cal smiled.

Justin and I just nodded. I started to walk away with Cal but I felt Justin grab my good hand and pull me closer to him, the next thing I knew his lips were on mine. I smiled into the kiss as he did, I had missed this.

‘I’ll see you soon, love you’ he smiled as I pulled away.

‘love you too’ Cal laughed as he pulled me away, causing me to laugh uncontrollably.

‘there’s my little Molly’ Cal smiled as he started to drive.

‘where have I been?’ I laughed.

‘well you haven’t been yourself without him’

‘shutup!’ I laughed.

‘I will not!’ he laughed.

I ran up to the room and packed my bag as fast as I could. I couldn’t wait to get back to Justin. I heard Cal turning on the charm, it must be a female who was in charge of the plane.

‘okay, okay thank you so much gorgeous’ Cal said smoothly as he hung up the phone. ‘two seats in first class, complete with champagne. You are welcome’

‘oh did you offer her sex or just dinner and a movie?’ I laughed trying to shut my case.

‘neither just the sound of my voice did it’ he stuck his tongue out as he grabbed my case. ‘you should feel privileged that you get to spend all day with me’

‘oh I do! doesn’t it come across?’ I said sarcastically as he handed me the handle to my closed case.

‘oh yes it does, you cant keep your hands off me!’

‘fuck off!’ I laughed hitting his arm.

‘see? see!’ he laughed as we got into the lift.

‘and one last thing’ he sighed reaching into the back seat of the car.

‘pop two of each of these’ he handed me the boxes of pills. ‘so I guess that’s six tablets in all’ he screwed his face up looking apologetic as he handed me a bottle of water. He started to drive as I put the pills in my mouth and swallowed them one by one.
