Chapter 8:

••2 weeks later••

And that's exactly what I did. I moved on. Me and Matthew have been texting 24/7 since we met. We had plans today to go and get lunch and walk around the mall.

Sarah was a little disappointed in me for moving on so fast. I mean I love Lou.. I always will no matter what... But he left me and said he'd be back.. Well he's not yet and I don't know when that's going to be. It could be years! So for now I'm not going to live my life isolated in an apartment where everything reminds me of him. If I'm happy then the reminders won't hurt as bad.

I was finishing my makeup and about to walk out the door and meet Matthew at wherever we were eating lunch. Sarah didn't want me to get hurt. Which I understand cause I don't want to be hurt either. But I'll take it slow with Matthew. We just met two weeks ago what could happen?

••1 month later••

"Matthew have you seen my jeans?! I need to hurry!!" I said running around Matthew's apartment looking for my clothes so I wasn't late to see the boys. "No babe I haven't sorry!" He yelled back. I groaned and kept looking. I went into his room to see him still in bed I looked at him and laughed while rolling my eyes.

"C'mere Brianna" he wined. I shook my head still frantically looking for my clothes. "Are these it?" He asked holding them. "YES!" I screamed jumping in him and taking my jeans "thank you soooooooo much!!!" I sad hoping off him and putting my jeans on. "Love you babe bye! Have a great day." I said kissing him and running out the door.

I quickly got to my own apartment to see the boys already there. "Where were you Bri?" Niall asked as I ran in and hugged them all.

I haven't seen them hardly since the whole Louis and Harry thing happens but we occasionally talked to check up and all. I wasn't ready to tell them about Matthew. We were dating just not serious. We had a great time and were practically best friends. He reminds me so much of Louis I think that's why we get together so well.

"Umm just out that's all" I replied. He nodded and I offered them drinks and food. Once I got them what the wanted I sat down and joined them.

"How've you been Brianna?" Liam asked. "Okay. I still miss him obviously but I think I'm not all depressed anymore.." "Well that's good" Zayn replied and smiled.

I nodded "how about you boys? Hanging in there?" They shrugged going silent. "We aren't really a group anymore so we just kind of hang out and try to have fun but it's hard..." Niall replied I nodded understanding how they felt.

Catching up with them was harder than I thought. I felt bad and missed Louis a lot. "Why don't we all go out? You know and try to forget a little?" I said trying to get rid of the tension. They just looked at each other an then I added "of course not forget about them completely! But you know... Try and have fun!" They then smiled and nodded. We were off for our fun adventure
