Council of Origin - Short Stories

A/N + Context

Alright, so, before you begin reading any of this, you should really read through this first.

First off, this is based off of a roleplay I've been doing on Discord with a friend of mine known as False_Swipe. As such, I do not own quite a few elements of the universe this takes place in.

The premise of this universe is that the Davisi, a race that is a mixture of humans and Pokémon, once lived peacefully alongside humans. However, they soon fell out of favor with them, and they were forced into hiding.

Most people don't believe in the existence of Legendary Pokémon in this universe, except for the occasional nut yelling about the sins of our forefathers. The Legendaries themselves are on a Council, and they refuse to meddle in mortal affairs. The main way to really get a Legendary on your side is to gain their trust enough to let them sign a Contract with you. Contracts allow you to have them on your team like a normal Pokémon.

Cyon is a Davisi of unknown species. Usually, the Davisi can identify with a Pokémon species, but Cyon is an exception. She keeps her Davisi form secret, as whenever she tried to show others before, they simply shunned her.

In these stories, Cyon has a friend known as Ethan. He is human, as far as she can tell. He became friends with her after saving her life, and they're very close.

Both of these characters are... Well, let's just say, their brains are a little smoother than usual. Combine that with minimal knowledge of how society operates and one of them being a chaos magnet, and you've got quite the crazy duo on your hands.

The setting for most of these is either the Amber Woods, a woodland just south of New Bark Town, or New Bark Town itself.
