Chapter Eight, The Dream

As you were sleeping you had an odd dream. It was where you and Mordecai started dating. You guys were chilling watching a movie and after the movie had finished, Mordecai paused the credits and turned to you. He looked you up and down. He then spoke up and said "Y/n, I have a question to ask, it's a bit weird but I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me Saturday night?" You said "Of course I would love to" You both blushed a little and looked away. Then your dream was interrupted by what sounded like Mordecai calling your name. You woke up and realized that it was morning, and time for the usual morning meeting. You got up and did your usual things. You had then proceeded to walk down the stairs. Once you had made it outside, Benson told you guys what you'd be doing. Y'all got to work, nothing crazy, You had to clean the gutters, which wasn't that bad. You all decided that on break you'd go to the coffee shop again. After what Rigby said, you'd decided to pay attention to how Mordecai acts around Margret to see if he was right. You guys casually rode to the coffee shop in the cart. Once you got there, you went inside and sat at the usual table with them. Margret came out with Eileen. Eileen took our orders and left Margret alone with us. She said "Hey guys what's up" and I watched Mordecai as she said that to see if he'd bush or anything. To my surprise he didn't. Rigby replied with "Nothin' much really, just chillin' with Y/n as per usual" and she looked at you with a fake bitchy smile. Mordecai looked away from her, and looked at you and rolled his eyes at her bitchiness. You giggled Margret goes "What's funny I wanna laugh to" and you all said "Nothing" at the same time. She rolled her eyes and said "Whatever" and walked away. By this time, Eileen came back with the coffees and Rigbys sandwich. You guys chilled and talked amongst yourselves for a little and decided to head back to the park. Cleaning the gutters was surprisingly the only job Benson had you guys do today. Once you guys got back to the house, Rigby wanted to take a nap. Mordecai asked "Hey Y/n, wanna watch a movie with me since Rigby wants to sleep?" To which you replied "Yea, but nothing scary this time" and you giggled. He laughed. He popped in a Carter and Briggs movie and you guys just watched it and laughed a couple of times. Once the movie was over Mordecai paused the credits. You thought "Hmmm somethings weird here, this is starting to look a lot like my dream" Snapping out of your thoughts you looked at Mordecai. He looked you up and down, just like in your dream. He then spoke up and asked "Hey Y/n, do you wanna go out with me Saturday night?" In your thoughts "HOLY SHIT THIS WAS MY EXACT FUCKING DREAM HOW THE HELL IS THIS HAPPENING CAN I TELL THE FUTURE OR SOMETHING AHH!" Snapping out of your thoughts you spoke up and said "Yea I'd love to"
