Chapter 8

*Jack J*

I walked out of the room in shock. A doctor ran over to me.

"Mr. Johnson, you weren't supposed to be in there." He said, glancing between me and the door.

"Why is she like that? What happened to her?"

"We thought she would be fine. But she isn't. I don't know what happened. Her memories just seemed to disappear."

"They will come back though right?" He gave me a look.

"We will try our best." He went into the room with three other doctors following shortly behind. I slumped in the corner with my head in my hands. I heard talking and I saw Jack and Leigh coming over.

"J? What happened?" I heard Jack ask.

"Mallory's memories are gone. And the doctors don't think they can get them back."

"All or...some?" Leigh asked.

"All. I went in and she asked who I was. She looked scared too." I felt Jack slid down next to me, wrapping his hands around me. I started to cry.

*Mallory*

I sat on my bed wondering who that man is. The funny part is, he looked familiar. He was the guy that the doctors kept showing me pictures of. Some more doctors came in.

"Who was he?" I asked.

"That was your husband. He didn't know you were here."

"What's his name?"

"Jack Johnson. And you are Mallory Johnson."

"Can I talk to him?" I asked. The doctors exchanged looks and one went out of the room. She returned with the guy. The doctors left.

"Um, I don't know what to say." I said looking at him.

"You don't remember me at all?" He asked.

"No, I'm really sorry. But it's nothing. I just woke up in here, not knowing where I was or anything. They kept showing me pictures of you though." I said. He nodded, looking at his feet.

"How long were we together?" I asked him.

"Since junior year of high school."

"Can you tell me about it?"

"Um yeah." He sat in the chair next to me.

"It all started when I ran into you at a party...."

I'm sorry for not writing and I'm sending an apology right now. I'm going to be in the hospital for 3-4 weeks so I might not be able to write very much but I will try. Thank you love you all
