Daughter of Poseidon (A Percy Jackson/One Direction Fanfic)

Chapter 6

After a really long meeting at the big house we all were dismissed to go back to the cabins and get ready for capture the flag, apparently its this game where they spilt the cabins into two teams and the first team to capture the others flag wins. Sounds simple right, nope i'm up against half bloods that have been training their entire lives.

"So ready for capture the flag." Percy asked.

"Nope i'm probably going to get my butt kicked." I replied.

'Hey I remember my first time playing, I used my water controling abilities and kicked everyones butts."

"Great advice, I think we should head down there now its almost time."

We left the cabin and made our way to where capture the flag was being played. Percy isn't that bad of a step brother. He is actually really nice and isn't freaked out by all this. As we walked down towards that part of the woods we were approached by the guys. 

"Hey guys." I said

"Hi Tori, Hi Percy," they shouted at us, how could they be so excited and happy right now?

"So guys whos your godly parent."

"Athena," Liam said.

"Apollo," Louis shouted.

"Aphrodite" Zayn and Harry said

"Zeus," Niall muttered.

We made our way down to the field and there was a huge group of campers surrounding Chiron and Mr. D. 

"Hello campers time for capture the flag, red team is Apollo, Athena, Poseidon, Ares, Hera, and Hermes. Blue team is Zeus, Dionysus, Aphrodite, Hades, and Hephaestus. Let the game begin." He said.

I rushed towards the red team's side and everyone from the cabins formed one big huddle. 

I could see Annabeth and Percy positioning campers and discussing stratigies. They seemed really cute together, I must question Percy later.

"Tori go out by the stream and make sure no one comes close to the flag." Annabeth ordered me.

I quickly jogged to the stream, hiding in the trees close by. My armor felt extremely heavy, but my sword was perfect, like it was made for me. I heard some rustling and quickly looked at my surroundings. I peered out from behind the tree trying not to be seen. Suddenly a figure came up behind me coming into panic mode I turned around and found myself face to face with Niall. I drew my sword and he drew his. 

"Can you fight pretty boy." I said.

"So you think i'm pretty," he said.

"Sure whatever floats your boat."

We lunged at each other, I swung my sword at him and he countered. It felt like I had been training forever, my sword skills came naturally.

"Your not half bad Tori."

"Back at you."

We were about to attack again when there was a loud noise came from the stream.  

'What was that." I asked.

Suddenly a huge figure appeared from the stream, exactly like what Chiron described earlier.

"Daughter of Poseidon finally we meet," she said in a screeching voice.

"Scylla," I tried to say but it came out as a whisper.

I stood there in shock I couldn't move. Literally, some invisible force was holding me in place.

"I can't move," I screamed.

She laughed her evil laugh and pointed the trident at me.

"Time is ticking as girl."

Suddenly a huge snake of water rose out of the stream and shot out towards me.

"Tori," Niall screamed as he ran towards me and pushed me out of the way.

We rolled a few feet and slowly came to a stop. Niall was lying on top of me, I couldn't help, but stare into his mesmerising blue eyes. We just stayed like that for what seemed like forever until I broke the silence.

"Um thanks for saving me."

"No problem, are you ok." he said getting off of me and helping me up.

"Yea what about you."

"I'm fine."

Suddenly we heard cheers coming from a distance.

"Looks like the game is over lets go find Chiron." I said.

Oh gods this was super akward, seriously could this get anymore akward. We walked to the big house in akward silence. Did I mention how akward this was? Great job Tori, how could you get anymore wierd.

Pretty bad chapter sorry, anyways I am putting this story on hold until July 1st. With finals and everything it is going to be really hard for me to write another chapter. Sorry everyone.
