Chapter 5

Tori's POV

Emma dragged me away from the big house and led me toward a row of cabins. I am still wondering what Chiron meant, what prophecy was he talking about.

"Here were are the Poseidon cabin," Emma's voice broke my train of thought.

This cabin is beautiful, I walked inside and stared in awe. There was even a lake behind the cabin.

"You only have one other cabin mate, Percy."

"So who's your god parent Em."

"Apollo god of the sun, healing, music, poetry..."

"Who the heck is in my cabin," someone shouted.

A tall figure with black hair and sea green eyes appeared in the cabin.

"Hi Percy meet your new stepsister," Em said.

He started chuckling, but stopped when he realised she wasn't kidding.

"Wait your serious, this is my sister. Dad never said anything about me having a sister," he said seeming kind of ticked off.

"Hi i'm Victoria and i'm still here," I said, everyone seems to leave me out of their conversations.

Suddenly a girl about my age with long blonde hair and gray eyes appeared out of nowhere.

"Percy, Emma, Chiron wants us down at the big house now."

"Still here would someone care to tell me what is happening."

"Hi you must be new at Camp Half Blood, I am Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena," the blonde girl said acknowledging my prescence.

"Hi i'm Victoria Winters, daughter of Poseidon."

Her face lost color, just like Chiron's and she muttered exactly what Chiron had said.

"Daughter of Poseidon, the prophecy is starting, come on all three of you to the big house now."

Ok this is really confusing, first I was dragged of to this mysterious camp in the middle of nowhere and every time I say my name people look like they are about to have a heart attack. How could this get any better. Wait my mom, she doesn't know where I am, gods she must be flipping out right now. The four of us rushed to the big house in silence.

As we walked into the big house, along with the boys, Chiron, and Mr. D there were a few other people I had never met before.

"Annabeth, I asked for only Percy and Emma," Chiron said.

"Chiron she deserves to know afterall she is the one to lead the quest," Annabeth said firmly.

"I can never win an arguement with you Annabeth, fine she can stay."

"Everyone i'm still here would someone please explain to me what the heck is going on and what this prophecy thingy is."

"Take a seat Victoria this is a long story." Chiron said.

I sat down between Emma and Annabeth.

"You might sill be in shock Victoria, this is all probably very intimidating." Chiron said

"Not to pressurize you anymore, but a few months ago there was a new prophecy that came up, usually Percy is one to lead quests, but you are supposed to led this one." Chiron continued.

"There must be mistake, I can't lead a quest thingy."

"There is no mistake Victoria, Rachel do you mind repeating the prophecy."

A tall slim girl with frizzy red hair and green eyes stood up, she started spiting out words like they were engraved in her head.

Scylla has reopened the doors of death

Daughter of Poseidon and son of Zeus shall face the ultimate test

A group of seven shall be a part of the quest

Without the trident the earth will fall

Daughter of Poseidon will answer the call

She sat back down, leaving me to wonder about what she said.

"Ok so can someone explain this to me."

"Scylla is a monster that lives on one side of a narrow channel of water, opposite her counterpart Charybdis. Scylla was a beautiful naiad who was claimed by Poseidon, but the jealous Amphitrite turned her into a monster by poisoning the water of the spring where Scylla would bathe. This caused Scylla to transform into a monster with four eyes, six long necks equipped with grisly heads, each of which contained three rows of sharp teeth. Her body consisted of twelve tentacle-like legs and a cat's tail while four to six dog-heads ringed her waist." Mr. D said.

"Ok so what about the trident and the son of Zeus."

"Well recently Poseidon's trident has been stolen, previously Zeus's bolt had been stolen and that had caused an uproar. Poseidon's trident is much more valuble, it is what created the earth. You are the reason Scylla can not use the trident, and you are also the only one who can stop her. Scylla is trying to have her revenge on Poseidon Victoria and you are the only one who can stop her." He continued

"And how about the son of Zeus."

"The only known son of Zeus is Niall, that is only part that we don't know about. All we know is that you two are a big part of the quest." Chiron said.

Hi people of Wattpad i'm back, hope you like my story so far, I had to do so much research for this chapter. Luckily we were doing a unit on Greek Mythology in Social Studies before break so it was easier for me to write this chapter. Anyways how did you like my terrible prophecy, I came up with it a few days ago and now that I typed it up it seems so stupid.
