Tori's POV

My story starts another normal day as Victoria Winter, Emma dragged me to Times Square so we could do some shopping. I would have rather stayed home and watched horror movies, but my best friend wouln't take no for an answer.

We walked down the crowded streets and pushed past countless amounts of people. We stopped at loads of stores, I bought a bracelet at Pandora for my mom. Her birthday was coming up and I had been saving up for ages.  

 "Tori look" Emma said pointing toward a huge billboard.

 I turned my head to look at the board and I crashed into someone resulting in all my bags falling on the sidewalk. I had ran into a boy around my age, maybe a year or two older. He was wearing a hoodie and sunglasses, strange look considering it was an overcast. 

"Sorry love" he said in an irish accent as he quickly gathered his things and headed to his friends.

 That seemed odd I quickly picked up my things and realized something. The Pandora bag wasn't there! I  lost the bracelet for my mom, just then in the distance  I saw the mystery dude holding the bag.  

I dragged Emma and explained to her as we ran after them. He was lucky I was just chasing him, I could have drenched him in sewer water. Emma keeps telling me not to use my powers in public, but every time I use them people don't realize anything, how are they that stupid. 

"Hey Mr.," I said to him as we tried to catch up.

He looked back and saw me running towards them. The five of them took off and tried to run away from us. 

Niall's POV

The boys and I were now running away from these crazy girls who were chasing us, it was the same girl I had bumped into. I really didn't get to see her face, but I knew it was her.

I thought my disguise was pretty good. Sorry, let me introduce myself my name is Niall Horan, you may know me as Niall from the band One Direction, so  I guess you don't need a full on description. 

Anyways the boys and I were just trying to spend a normal day in Times Square without getting recognized, but I am pretty sure I blew our cover. We started running away from our crazed fans.

"I think they found out our secret" I said

"Oh no, they found out we are demigods, I swear I didn't blab, why are you all blaming me" Louis shouted at us 

"No Louis, I think Niall is trying to say, that those girls found out that we are from the famous band One Direction," Liam added.

"Guys look an empty office building we can hide in here," Harry said as we neared it.

"Are you sure that's a good idea'" Liam asked.

"We"ll be fine," I reassured them as we ran into the empty building.

We locked the front door and hid in one of the closets. The two girls struggled but unlocked the door. They walked in and looked around.

"I'm sure they ran in here," the girl in the leather jacket said.

"Uggghhh we lost them, they are such arses," the other girl said.

"Now i"ll never get that bracelet back, I spent like ten months saving up for it," the first girl said 

"Let's just look for them, hopefully they aren't murders," the second girl said.

What in the world were they talking about. I looked at my bags and saw a Pandora bag. God I must have accidentally grabbed her bag. This was probably what they were talking about. 

I explained this to the guys and we decided to go out and give it back. They actually weren't crazed fans, who knew. We got out of the small closet and heard a loud thumping noise come from the front door.

Tori's POV 

We walked around the lobby of the building, the elevator and stairs were blocked off so they had to be in here somewhere. We decided to go back to the front entrance when we saw five boys standing in shock and loud thumping noises coming from the front.

"Hey your the........" I was cut off when one of the guys clamped the hand over my mouth.

They dragged us to the back of the lobby floor. 

"I smell demigods why don't you show yourselves," said a screeching voice coming from the front entrance.

"What the hell is that and who are you people," I asked 

They seemed surprised by my second question. They took off their hoods and sunglasses, Emma faintly gasped, but I was still confused.

"Umm I still don't know who you are, but more importantly, what is out there and what does it want"

Still surprised at my reaction the curly haired boy was about to say something, when the front door slammed open. I only caught a glimpse of the lady, she had snakes for hair and was wearing sunglasses. She looked like a character from a horror movie. Me and Emma were dragged into the nearest closet. I was in serious shock, what the hell just happened. Maybe I am crazy.

"You two stay here and don't come out, don't look into her eyes no matter what," the blonde one said, I think he was the one who knocked me down earlier. 

The five of them slipped out quietly and the two of us sat in the darkness waiting for them to come back.

"Em who are they and what is that thing out there" I whispered.

"First of all Tori this is real life and you are not crazy secondly that thing is Medusa, she is a character from Greek mythology she is extremely dangerous and lastly that is the boy band One Direction, I don't know why they are out there, they might be half bloods too," she whispered back 

"What is a half blood."

"A half human half god, the reason why no one told you this was to keep you safe, you're mother was a human and you're father was a Greek god."

I sat there shocked and overwhelmed, I had no clue what to do and what was happening. It's official i'm crazy. Suddenly the door flew open and I immediately closed my eyes.
