A warm wind blew over their heads. The air moved Krux's hair, while the man was sliding his hand on the sharp blade of the sword he was holding.
On his face, there was a tiny, little smirk, which looked like a cut in the skin.
The green cape was moving, with small waves, like it was the see. The Master of Time sighed and tilted his head.
"Orders, sir?" General Machia asked, approaching him. "Wait, General.- The man turned his head to her. -Give them a few more minutes, to believe their safe." The woman nodded and stepped back.
Blunck and Ruggmank who were hissing against each other, snapped their head to the General. "Be ready! Bring your weapons!" The two commanders bowed their heads and looked at Machia, who was back next to Krux. "Do you think they're ready for...what you planned?" She asked. Krux remained still but, after a moment, he shook his head and looked at her. "No. I'm sure they're not."
----
Acronix rose his head to the sky. He inhaled the air for a couple second, exhaling immediately. He was feeling so tired, even though he had sleep pretty well.
He could feel Krux's presence not far from where he was, even if he didn't know where.
He was wearing the armour that Jay and Cyrus had built him. His fingers were thightly wrapped around the grip of his old sword. His chest was going up and down, slowly,  keeping the same pace.
"Acronix?" The Master of Time turned his head, hearing the low voice of the Master of Earth calling him. Acronix turned fully around, facing the youngest. "Cole..." He simply said, as a form of greeting. "Is everything okay?" Cole asked, standing next to him, his arms crossed. "I'm not sure.- Acronix sighed. -I know this is inevitable but still...Master Wu is convinced this is the best way to try to help him and discover what happened." Cole frowned and nodded. He too was anxious, for what was about to happen; he was scratching in his arm, digging his nails in the skin, not deep to make him bleed, but with enough strenght to leave marks.
"Can I ask you a question, Acronix?" The Master of Earth suddenly asked. The long haired man jumped and looked at him, eyebrows rose and mouth half opened. "Oh, ehm...yes, sure. Go ahead." Cole scratched the back of his head, running his fingers through his hair. "Don't you know nothing about what your brother is going to do?" Acronix looked down. He then turned around and sat on the steps, in front of the door. "I don't know how he did it. It...scared me too and I don't know if they're stronger, or weaker, but if he brouth them back...I'm sure he managed a way to...bring someone else back, as well." The Master of Earth tilted his head to the side, not knowing if he was scared, curious or what else. "What are you talking about?"
Acronix, once broken, arm was pulsing softly. It was a weird sensation, almost annoying, but he tried to ignore it, event though it may be a sign of danger. "He brought our commanders back to life." He finally said, rising his eyes from the dusty ground. Cole was shocked and his jaw dropped. "What?! Are you kidding me? How did he do it?! It's...impossible!" The Master of Earth was shocked, his eyes were fixed on the Time Master, who was trying to avoid Cole's eyes. "I don't know how he did it! He didn't tell me anything, since we time travelled back."

"Does he hate you?"
"I don't think so...I think he...changed, somehow."

They remained silent, until a hard bang on the courtyard door, made them jump. "What the fuck was that?!" Cole growled, frowning and rising his fists. Acronix jumped up too, holding thight around his weapon. The hits went on for a few minutes; Master Wu and the other students, ran in the courtyard, all of them had his face covered and a weapon in their hand. "Cole!" Kai shouted, passing the Earth Master a scythe.

They were ready. Ready to fight, ready to face whoever was trying to destry the wall around the Monastery. Acronix was feeling his nerves shaking under the skin, for how nervous he was. A vein was pulsing on his temple; his heartbeat was so fast, that he thought it was about to jump outside his chest.
He tried to swallow a giant knot, stucked in his throat and fought the impuls to wipe a drop of sweat, which was rolling down his cheek.

The wind had stopped blowing and the sun was even hotter, without the warm air. Lloyd removed his hood, he was suffocating. His blond hair were wet, messy, sticked to his face. He removed them, from his eyes and huffed. "What is he waiting for?!" The young Garmadon shouted, stomping his foot on the ground. A small cloud of dust rose from where he had hitted. Acronix had the impression that he looked like an 8 years old kid. He sighed. "The right moment.- He said. -He's waiting for the perfect moment to attack."

"Are you so impatient, Acronix?" A cold voice asked, from over their heads. Acronix had just the time to rose his attention to the sky, before Krux dropped heavily on his twin's shoulders. The youngest gritted his teeth, his knees bent and, before he knew, he was laying on the ground. He left the grip on the sword, which slid a couple meters away from him. He groaned and rose is head. The oldest twin picked up the weapon and observed it. "I don't think this will be useful." He joked. He observed how the youngest managed to stood up again."Nice armour.- Krux growled. -I'll be careful not to ruin it when I'll kill you." The long haired one rose his closed fists, ready to fight, his back was aching because his twin's attack, but he tried his beast to hide the pain. "I don't need a sword to smash your head, Krux!" He hissed. But the threat simply put a smile on Krux's young face. "I'd like to see you try, Acronix."

"What do you want, Krux?" Wu soft voice catched his attention. Krux rose his copper eyes on him. "Master Wu!- He exclaimed, like he was seeing an old friend. -Still alive, uh?" He approached him. Just a couple steps. "What do you want?" Wu asked, for the second time. Krux glared at Wu's pupils; they all had a weapon and their face covered by a hood.
He observed them and then, looked back at the old man. "I want them to die...they are a pain in the back." He hissed. Kai chuckled, it sounded like a grunt, more than a chuckle, but Krux looked at him anyway. "What's so funny, fire boy?"

"You're alone, Krux. You don't have a chance against all of us!"
"So why didn't you kill me?"
"We're not murders. We swore to protect the citizens, we don't kill."
"What about Lord Garmadon? Or the Overlord? Or Master Chen? Almost everyone that tried to take down Ninjago is dead, so don't try to say you're not killers!"

The Master of Time smirked, seeing how the fire in Kai's eyes slowly died. The spike haired boy remained silent. "Anyway.- Krux went on. -I'm not alone." He turned around, arms behind his back and stood in the middle of the courtyard. "Generl Machia, can you join us?" He shouted.
The Snake woman almost appeared next to the oldest twin, her hands behind her back. The thousand snake on her head were hissing and snapping their tongues. "Orders, sir?" She said. Krux smirked. Oh, he loved to be called like that! It gave him a sense of power he had never felt, neither with his powers!
Being called sir, made him feel like everybody was at his orders. He cracked his neck. "Take care of the ninja, but leave my brother to me." He explained. "And for the Master? Do I have to take care of him too?"

"Of course. Remember, you attack to kill."
"And your brother?"
"Leave him to me. I think we need a family reunion."

He snapped his fingers and, as Makia did, both Blunck and Ruggmank appeared by his sides.
Krux observed as their enemies frowned, gritted their teeth or what else they were doing.
He closed his eyes and breathed deeply.
Then he looked at them once again.
"Kill them." He ordered.
