It was a moment; in a blink of their eyes, Kai, Nya, Lloyd, Cole and Jay were busy fighting Blunck and Ruggmank.
It was incredible, but they were way stronger than the last time they had met them and it was hard to keep on the fight.
Master Wu found himself stucked in a corner, because of Machia. She started hit him with anger and furiously.
Krux observed proud the tree Commanders, who were following his orders. "Isn't it amazing?" He asked, turning to his brother, who was looking at him, scared. He could feel his legs shaking, but he tried to stay calm. Krux chuckled. "I've never been so proud in my life. Neither of you."
Acronix felt his heart, break in half, at those words.
It was the first time.
The first time that something his brother had said, was hurting him so bad.
He felt like the time had stopped, all around him. He wasn't hearing the others fighting and losing.
He wasn't feel the soft wind's stroke on his skin. He didn't even notice the leaves that fell on his shoulders or on the ground right in front of him.
His mind was numb, like paused.
His senses were all deactivated.
Worst of all, he didn't even notice that Krux had performed a high jump, over his head. But he could feel the flash of pain that shoot in his body, when he got hit by a kick, right in his jaw.
He slammed heavily on the ground and let go of his weapon.
He groaned, feeling the pain on his face, but managed to stand up.
Krux chuckled and sighed. "Did it hurt? What hurt more? The kick or the truth?"
He gritted his teeth and rose a closed fist, right on time, to taste his own blood; Krux had punched him right in the mouth. The lips were cut and the tongue was injured as well. He moaned in pain and spit on the ground. "I...I know that you don't really believe what you're saying...you always told me how important I am for you!" Krux smirked and shook his head. "People reveal who they truly are.- He hissed -You're nothing and I'm powerful! Seriously, Acronix, do you really think I was...happy to have you back in my life!?"
The youngest remained silent, while Krux's words stabbed him multiple times, right in his heart.
Acronix bit on his lower lip and swallowed, as Krux spit on the ground, in disgust.
"You're not this, brother mine.- He whispered, to hide his broke voice. -I...I am sure that...something happened to you when we traveled back in time. What...what's wrong..?"
The oldest face melted in a mask of hate. "Shut your mouth. Nothing happened to me, you useless cockroach. Can't you see!? You're the one that turned his back at me! We were destined to rule together and now you're choosing to...give up on our plan! Why, I ask!? For a weak, old man that is going to die anyway! You really are a disappointment for me and nothing can make me change my mind! You chose your side, we're enemies, now. I'm not trying to bring g you back to my side! Not anymore."
With this words, the oldest slammed his closed his fist on the brother's nose. The bone broke; a loud snap that Acronix heard clearly in his ears. The pain blinded him for a few time, enough for allow Krux to push him down the mountain.

The Time Master fell for a few hundred meters. Trying to grab on the rocks, he cut and scratched on his skin, opening a few cuts, but he managed to stop his fall. "Curse you, Krux..." He growled, climbing back up. Thing was, he had fallen a few meters down, so he would have tooken him a bit to reach the top. He hoped in his heart, that Wu and the others could be able to resist his crazy twin.

"C'MON! CAN'T YOU SEE?! I WON AGAIN, I ALWAYS WIN! BOW TO YOUR NEW EMPEROR, OR DIE!" Krux shouted, watching as his enemies were held to the ground by his servants. Machia was blocking Wu, Lloyd and Cole, stepping on the Mater's back. Blunck was busy with Kai and Jay. At last, Raggmunk, was having a hard time with Nya. "Wait for me to have my hands free again and I'll show you!" She threatened the Time Master. As result, Krux smiled at her and shook his head. "Oh, sweet, young girl. You have a good temper, I have to admit it, but I'm sorry to tell you that I find it quite annoying." Nya tried to reach for him. "You see." Krux said, approaching her. "I'd like to avoid you and your friends to get into my way, again. ButI'm not sure wether spare you or kill you, one by one." He grinned. "I am not convinced, yet." He rose his head. "General Machia!" He rumbled. The snake-woman looked at him; a proud expression on her face. "Yes, sir?" Krux basked at that name and puffed out his chest, proud. "What do you think we should do with them?" He asked, hiding his excitement. "I think, my lord!" She declared after a short moment of thinking. "It's better we get rid of them, since..." Krux rose a hand to stop her. He had a deep frown and was looking behind his back, to the front door. He had a weird sensation. An unpleasant one. "My lord, is everything okay?" Ruggmank asked, hoping to not upset him. "There's something!" He said in a flat tone. "Your brother?" Machia suggested with a hiss. But the Master of Time shook his head slowly. "No. It's something else. I can't understand what, though." He snapped his head toward his general. "Send one of your snake!" He ordered. "Tell me who is coming! I don't want to be interrupted. IS THAT CLEAR!?" The woman nodded her head and hissed. A long, red viper crawled on the grounds, towards the endless stairs. "So! Where were we?" Krux asked, with a bright smile. It was weird; it was like his theeth had become sharper and even his eyes had changed. The pupils were now thin and vertical in a pair of...red eyes? Since when did he had red eyes! He ran his fingers across the blade he was holding. Oh, how he wished for it to be stained in blood. It wasn't important whose blood was it. He wanted to see blood. See it, taste it! Feeling the ferrous flavour on his tongue, hear the drops hit the ground!
Wait. Why was he thinking that!? That wasn't normal! Blood had always disgusted him! What was his problem!? Krux gritted his teeth and clenched his fists.
As he was thinking that, the sentinel Machia had sent, was back to its owner and had climbed along her arm, whispering and hissing at her ear. "My lord!" She called him, unable to hide the fact she was a bit worried for him. For his reaction, for the way his face had changed. "My sentinel have news." She explained.

"SO!?"
"So, it's just the postman. Nothing to worry about, he ran away. You worried for nothing."

He looked at her, outraged. "YOU DARE ME CALL ME A STUPID?!" He shouted at her. "No, my lord." General Machia tried to explain. "I just said that..." Nobody knew what she was about to say, because Krux's closed punch speared her head from side to side. There was a shriek from the snakes, as they crowled away in different directions. "ANYTHING YOU'D LIKE TO SAY?!" He screamed at Blunck and Ruggmank. The two shok they're heads, quickly. "Very well." The Time Master hissed.
Thing was, that now Lloyd, Cole and Sensei Wu were now back on their feet, ready to throw hands with their enemy. Krux observed them, untouched and chuckled. A soft chuckle that, quickly, became a loud, rumbling laugh that made the ninjas' hearts shake.
"I'm tired of all of this!" Lloyd shouted, ready to throw hands with Krux. But when he stepped forward to join the fight, Master Wu rose a hand to stop him. "No. Wait." The oldest man approached his old friend, with a sense of hope and fear in his chest. He wanted to try something and part of him was praying to be wrong. The first thing that had popped in his mind came when he first noticed something in Krux's behaviour. And not the fact that he had attacked his own Twin. No. It was a weird light Wu had seen in Krux's eyes, more than once. A light that he had saw only long time ago. Years, decades ago. A light he had hope to never see again, in the eyes of someone who he loved. But there it was, once again. More aggressive than ever.

He was now standing in front of his old allies, staring in his eyes. Krux was breathing slowly, unsure on what the old man was about to do. The Master stroked his long white beard, piercing the Time Master's soul and red eyes. "WHAT DO YOU WANT!?" This one shouted, at last. Wu didn't even flinch. It was time, time of truth. He took a deep breath. For the first time, even his students could feel a sense of fear irradiate from their Master.
"Agad?" He finally called. Everything around stopped. And it wasn't just a sensation. The time had really stopped, froze. The ninjas were frozen, trying to counter attack. Cyrus peaking out of a window and Acronix was finally arrived at the top of the Monastery.

Krux and Wu were still staring at each other, but they were the only one free from that weird spell. And Wu knew that something had happened, something bad. It was back, once again and it wanted only one thing.
