Confront

Imagine this scenario: you are in a very happy relationship with someone; you are content, you are loved. Then you meet someone, in (a very happy, cuz I'm not too sure) relationship as you do. You two got along together, well besides a very  rough start, and both of you end up hanging out one day.

That unfaithful day, the day you chose to hang out with that someone, they ended up confessing their feelings for you. You tried to avoid him for the some days, then later reconciled, admitting that you might have developed feelings for them as well.

You may say both of you are infatuated with each other. You may say it's just a crush. But then again, your body contradicts what your mind tries to tell you: lust. It got to the point where your so called 'infatuation' got pushed into some sort of sexual tension, not that you both are  willing to push it through. You guys are helpless with your own desires, and you let that desire devour you.

Then all of a sudden, it was shattered. The façade that you two have been perfectly built, gone in one fell swoop.

In other words, you got caught.

"Fuck." Me and Roy muttered almost at the same time, as we both stared at the now-stunned May standing by the door.

Roy got up from the couch as he raced to get May who attempted to leave. "May it's not what you think it is." He immediately caught her in a flash, getting her inside and shut the door, making sure it was securely locked this time.

I grabbed the blanket that was tossed aside earlier and let it cover my nearly half-naked self. "Dale what the fuck are you doing?" May questioned, anger coming off of her.

She then pointed her finger to Roy, "And you what are you doing with Dale? Why are you two looked surprised? Oh yeah cuz I fucking caught you two making out."

"May listen, leave Dale out of this." Roy pleaded.

"Oh yeah, well explain this to me, Roy." She now turned her attention to me. I felt like I've been shrunk down her gaze, as my body eventually stiffened in shock.

"I uh- I-" Words didn't seem want to form out of my mouth. I did this, please don't get mad at Roy.

"What was that Dale?" May raised her voice, almost shaking the entire room. Tears had already been pouring out of my eyes.

"You're scaring him May, calm the fuck down." Roy's voice contrasted May's. His was softer, consoling.

His attempt of reaching over to me was halted by a now angry May. "Don't you dare come any closer to him Roy, not even lay a single finger on him." She challenged Roy. I can feel the tension between the two siblings, as I can only sob quietly in the corner.

"I need to check on him, please." This time, Roy asked May sincerely. She was about to open her mouth to speak again but then Roy came to me and enveloped me with his arms.

My eyes were caught by May's as she took a deep breath. She growled in frustration, slamming her fist on the table then sat down on the couch.

"It's going to be alright Dale, don't worry." Roy calmed my muffled sobs, that was beginning to hurt my chest. He sat me back down to the couch, directly opposite to May. Her eyes were still on me.

Roy handed me a glass of water, I slowly drank from it but ended up choking, coughing the water out. I cleared my throat and tried to recover. I can tell that May was totally paying attention to what Roy and I had been doing ever since she sat down.

"Okay be honest you two, and I need to hear this from you two: are you two dating?" She started with a direct question.

"No." Me and Roy answered in unison. We received an eye twitch from May, dissatisfied with our answer we gave her. "May believe us, we are not dating." I added, hoping it would make it clear for her.

"If you're not dating, then I'm going to assume you are cheating on your partners. This is so wrong in all levels, especially from you Dale!" I was wrong and she was right. No matter how much I convince myself that I was not doing anything wrong, I was cheating on Connor.

"Is there something you want to say Roy? I know the games your playing and believe me, I've seen them all."

What? Game? "Roy? Was a-all that a game to you?" My chest began to hurt again, my heart got stabbed, broken.

"Don't come any closer to me Roy." I shuffled away from his as he closed the distance between us, kicking him away from me. I grabbed my shirt and put it back on, as I took my bag with me.

"I gotta go. May I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to do any of this. I--- I have to go talk to Connor now." May nodded as she gave me a hug. I pulled away from her and made my way out.

"Dale, wait!" Roy called out. "You forgot this." He held Lanc- that stupid bear and was about to hand it to me. May took this opportunity to pull Roy back inside. "You better go now before my stupid brother does something else."

I nodded and saw their mum arrive home. "Hello Mrs. Lance." I greeted her and walked away, as fast as I could. I need to get home now.

I need Connor right now.
