"A true relationship is when you can tell each other anything and everything. No secrets. No lies."

Zee traced the raised skin that stands out in dark pink against Saint's alabaster skin. There are other scars but none as big as the one on Saint's ribcage. The blanket had slipped during the night, exposing the upper half of their bodies. The room was getting warmer and the birds outside grew louder as if they were saying, "The worms are all gone now, you lazy idiots!"

In the bright light of the morning sun, Zee ignored meddlesome birds and lightly wrote his name with his finger, an invisible stamp on his slumbering lover, as if the visible marks he made on Saint's skin last night weren't enough. Tulip red petals bloomed all over Saint's body.

"So you read my letter, huh?"

Zee glanced up to see Saint's eyes wide open, a soft teasing smile gracing his sleepy face.

"Mn," Zee hummed before ducking down to press a kiss on the big scar. Saint lifted his hand and Zee caught it and brought it to his face. Saint caressed his cheek and Zee couldn't help but turn his head and press a kiss on Saint's open palm.

Saint played with the bristles under Zee's chin, finding endless fascination over its rapid growth. "How long did it take you to transcribe it?"

Zee stared at Saint, wondering whether he should aim to impress or just be honest. "Two days," he finally admitted.

"Hahahahahaha!" Saint twisted his body as he laughed himself silly while Zee looked on with great fondness, even though he was the butt of the joke.

Breakfast was fresh fruits, cereal and stolen kisses.

Saint refused to shower with him, pointing out that he didn't want Zee to be late for work. Zee didn't even want to go to the office, not wanting to be apart from Saint even for just a minute. Zee continued to complain after he got out of the shower so Saint scolded and reminded him about his responsibilities. Zee groaned and called Saint a killjoy even while he was trying to rub his face against Saint's.

"We have all the time in the world now, don't we?" Saint kept playfully dodging his face away from Zee's affectionate attack. His body told another story since he was all but leaning against Zee, his borrowed clothes absorbing the dampness from Zee's skin. "This is the start of our forever."

Zee's eyes burned at the statement and he wondered briefly if he swallowed butterflies for breakfast. "Mark your words, Saint," he said as he went still.

"Mn. Mark my words, P'Zee, you're never going to get rid of me now," Saint cheerfully threatened him, his hands playing with the towel around Zee's waist.

"I have no intention to," Zee vowed. He took a lungful of air as he pressed his forehead against Saint's. Licking his lips in an almost unconscious manner, Zee exhaled, "Can I kiss you?"

Saint's shoulders shook as he giggled. "Of course you can! Did you forget? I'm yours and you're mine now."

Saint shouldn't have said that. He really shouldn't have said that because it caused Zee to arrive at the office an hour late.

"P'Saint?" Princess's voice was small and hesitant.

"Yeah?" Saint replied absently as he turned off his keyboard and fitted the stretchable velvet dust cover over it, his mind was flitting back and forth to his present activity and to Zee. He probably looks smitten and he is, he's glad Princess is too young to make a comment on it.
